awesome little press, did many 4 color jobs on it. best thing we did was put crestline water units on it. once you learn the little extra tweaks you can do on it, it is a great machine
For Indians my comment is - Ye machine bhangaar hai. Jin logo ne iske videos dekh kar kharidi hai un sabka chutiya kata hai. 5 saal use karne ke baad mere experience se 3302H aur 3304HA sabse bekar models hain. Never buy this machine
No the 3302 was a dedicated 2 color offset press. The Ryobi perfector was a 3200PFA. A completely different press. I was a service engineer for over 20 years on these machines.
ijk240695 I can relate to this as well. I started out as a Chief 17 operator for Control Data Corporation. Black ink only 15-25,000 impressions and 300 electrostatic plates a day for 6 years. No wonder I became an engineer instead.
Thank you Todd! Great basic information. An explanation of how the rollers work with ink, solution and the transfer of ink from fountain, Plate and blanket would be helpful. Also how to hang a plate and the fine tuning to achieve perfect registration. Thanks again Todd!
Nice video guys. Any idea what is causing a feed table chain to break? I have a pressman experienced on Itek 3985 operating Ryobi 3302M. He's good pressman but has no idea what he's doing or not doing to cause this. Happened to each chain within a month.
Jerry Kirkland I had the same problem when I first began running the Ryobi 3302. I had previously ran a Heidelberg QM-46 for 10 yrs so going to the Ryobi took some getting used to as it requires a lot more set-up time. I was used to auto-features offered by the Heidelberg & there is def nothing 'auto' about the Ryobi 3302! Geez but lemme know if you're still having issues maybe i can help.
wzp guys) greetings from Estonia) I'm totally IN ) have used this one for some time, but only one-sectioned)) u didn't tell about the powder in your video, would be a great idea for a new vid)

Not a good idea to spread ink onto the rollers. You will get an uneven film of ink, making it more difficult in getting the correct color.

Blanket solution? Fountain solution. Lol

Yea you had the table that feeds the paper way too high
You probably had the knob that inches the table up turned too much to the left
this fucking music
