I purchased my pig 3 days before vacation, I was gone for 2 weeks. My pig will not calm down. I have tried every treat known to man. He will eat out of my hand but runs away anytime I try to touch him. PLEASE HELP!!!!

I’m a multiple grand champion showman and have had multiple very successful pigs and one tip is to not pick on your pig in the holding pen. That is supposed to be a resting place

This is too funny how intense mom is over showing a pig. I will say, the pig they showed is very pretty and walked like it was Wilmer, chin up and not bothered by getting smacked in the side and face 900 times😂

I’ve never showed a pig before this is my first time even touching and being with one. I had let him out of his little enclosure and tried to run away so i had to chase him, not only that but every time i show him the whip/guiding tool all he wants to do is chew on it even when i’m trying to guide him, he also keeps trying to bite and nudge me, please i need some advice what do I do?

So we have a gilt that is as friendly as can be but once we open the gate she does not want to come out. When we get her out all she wants to do is go and hang out by the gate. Do you have any fixes for that?

Do you have any advice on picking a nice pig? Is it better to have a barrow or a guilt and what should you look for when picking out which pig you're going to show?

I know I’m commenting late, but I can’t get my pig to walk he ends up sniffing all the other pens/pigs and won’t move. I don’t know what to do because he can’t walk by the fence without getting distracted.

Whis my pig was that good

You guys need to walk them for longer periods of time at an early age othwise they will be grumpy and as they get older they will figure out their surroundings and like start to fight you after about 10 minutes.
