It's been a while since I did a Chopin Etude so here it is (2 down, 22 to go). Chopin's "Ocean" Etude is a series of rising and falling arpeggios that create the effect of waves. Its dramatic nature evokes the image of a storm in the middle of the ocean. are you using the pedal? I can't figure it out. Without the pedal, the bass notes don't ring out like yours do, but if I keep the pedal down all the notes bleed into each other too much... or are you doing some kind of complex pedalling?
I’m no expert as I’ve only been learning piano 8 months but I should imagine he is “re-pedalling” every time the left hand bass notes/chords change as a minimum.
