Dallas has mentioned that they don’t plan on bringing back Ramah like this, and I really hope they don’t because I think it would only distract from Jesus resurrection and the reasoning for Thomas’ doubt. And since Jesus didn’t appear to Thomas till eight days after He appear to the other disciples, that would mean that Ramah would have been walking around all that time and never went to find Thomas or any of the other followers, and that would make no sense. Also, I know they add storyline that aren’t in Scripture and we can get invested in the characters, but I do think we need to remember that this isn’t a Hallmark movie where everyone gets a happy ending, it’s more like real life. Enjoying your videos, keep up the good work.

about as good of breakdown of a video as you're gonna get. Just a real intense scene here in the chambers almost unworldly how good the acting was then to get a near scientific breakdown you couldn't possibly ask for more! 😎

I think we all need to remember that a lot of The Chosen had to be artistic creation, because there's so much that we do not know. Ramah is not a person in the Bible. She, like Eden, is added for entertainment purposes.

6:37 I’ve also wondered if we’re going to see Quintus again in the story. And wondering if because of his demotion, that maybe he’ll be one of the soldiers in the crucifixion: dividing up his clothes, hammering the nails, giving him the sponge on a stick to drink, spearing his side, saying “Truly, this was the Son of God!” Or even one of the soldiers guarding the tomb. (I’ve wondered if any of those guys would either be Quintus or Atticus.) 🤔

Another reason why I think Jesus didn’t heal or resurrect Ramah at that time was because if he did it then & there, the “evidence” of Quintus’s crime would’ve been destroyed. If Ramah were healed or resurrected right then, Quintus wouldn’t have been demoted (& Gaius wouldn’t have been promoted)! 😮🤯

3:10 The “wages”-what we actually *earn* for “working for Sin” is death. The “free gift”-Grace is not something that we can earn!

4:16 The 2 criminals crucified with Jesus (Luke 23:39-43) has a story running parallel to it in Genesis 40:5-23, where the chief cup-bearer & chief baker are in prison with Joseph. They each have similar disturbing dreams, telling Joseph about it. (Like the “2 criminals” described in Luke, the Bible doesn’t go into detail or even mention the exact offenses.) The chief cup-bearer actually gets a favorable interpretation (& like the repentant criminal gets the ultimate pardon & restoration to Paradise), so the chief baker thinks he’s entitled to a favorable dream interpretation (like the more arrogant criminal wanting Jesus to save himself & them in Luke 23:39), but instead he was “hanged on a tree & the birds ate his flesh”. (In the movie “The Passion”, a raven even gets a head start in eating the arrogant criminal while he’s still alive on the cross, which is also mentioned in Proverbs 30:17.) Joseph in Genesis 40:14-15 reveals that he’s serving a sentence for a crime he didn’t commit, just like Yeshua (Jesus), which the repentant criminal admits in Luke 23:40. In both stories, it’s like God himself (Jesus, who is God in the flesh), & Joseph (an archetype of Messiah) is a fellow prisoner with us. Only in Genesis: 40:23, the chief cup-bearer forgets his promise to Joseph (& won’t remember it for 2 years). But we can rest assured that Jesus did not forget the repentant criminal. Showing that Adonai is faithful, even when humanity isn’t.

In The Chosen Talks, this verse was mentioned and Dallas said he didn't think they were gonna do it. But that was not a definite "no". Maybe if we sign a petition and send it to The Chosen team...

I've subscribed. I've been a The Chosen fan since the first episode of Season One. Since I returned to the faith a few years ago, I've been hungry to keep learning and growing. Thank you for putting these videos up!

I hope they make this a big scene. The bystander who helps carry the cross for a while. Jesus help so many with their pain. The bystander help JESUS PAIN.

The footage that I used in this video for the Jesus on the cross scenes is not from The Chosen, it’s from The Two Thieves short film, made by Dallas Jenkins before he made The Chosen. I noticed there was some confusion about this in the comments, so I wanted to confirm that the two thieves here are not from The Chosen. We don’t have footage of Season 6 yet or know who the actors for them are yet. I hope that clears that up! Thanks for watching! Who do you think the two thieves will be?

Hello, looking at the thief, he looks nothing like the Zealot. He looks just like the guy Judas was working with/for, he was a thief. If you remember when Judas went to see him while they were in Bethany he was stealing by altering some paperwork. Blessings...

For all of us who will be watching Jesus' crucifixion in season 5 in a few months, understand that the crown of thorns was not a merely a ring, but actually more like a helmut of thorns, which were an inch long and very sharp. We know this from marks on the Shroud of Turin.

I would have to agree with you cause in season 4 Jesus tells Thomas, when Thomas states, Heal her, she may not be dead yet... and Jesus states, It is NOT her time!!

I’m going to agree with you!!! At least I sure hope so!!!! When Rehma died that was the first thing I thought about that scripture, the tomb’s opening and the Saints came out and walked around. I hope you’re right. 🩵
