Appreciate it, man. 65% of my current 28" 4k monitor's backlights have seemingly bit the bullet (it randomly comes back on occasionally) and I can't afford a new one atm, but I do have a 40" 4k tv, so I'm definitely thinking of hooking that up for the time being.
I’m glad this video is helpful for you!
stop #greenscreenkids 😡 Let’s all come together to get better content for the space of youtube, who is with me?!! 😤😤
I don’t appreciate your negativity. Read the community guidelines!
My right ear love this
So I’m new to all this dvi hdmi and I don’t know how to connect my tv to my pc
Been using a 32inch Walmart special for over 10 years now. Plug in and go baby! I don't have 4k but it does what I need.
Sir, are you looking for a professional TH-cam thumbnail designer and SEO expert?
No, thank you.
i needed help with my schedule this helped so much! keep it up, these videos will blow up, it’s so good it brings a tear to my eye 😢
Thank you. Truly inspirational.
Anyone can understand Sir
I'd like to hear more about investment strategies. I made a budget spreadsheet because of this video and it was definitely eye-opening. Thanks for this!
Thanks for watching the video. Be encouraged! I’m not a licensed investment expert, but my personal strategy is to stay away from anything that is not a mutual fund. I don’t do anything with crypto or single stock. The key in my opinion is to invest consistently and don’t invest while you have active credit card debt. Get the debt paid off. Please consult a financial advisor though for any specific advice! Check out Dave Ramsey also. I love his content regarding investing. The keys is to get good advice from an investing expert, which I am not.
My debt is getting worse, back in the day, since I have seen these videos I have been able to slowly climb out of my debt all thanks to you, @theunstoppableoneisyou is my new favorite TH-camr of all time!!! My debt is going away and I am so happy!!
Great advice!
Glad it was helpful!
i have been in some debt recently, but these videos are helping me so much, thank you so much ❤
You are so welcome!🙏
Great video!
Glad you enjoyed it
What an amazing video!!! If I was a 76 year old ptsd ridden, quadriplegic, Vietnam veteran, this might help me. Foh bruh. U didn’t even show any of the correct display settings AT ALL. Boo this man.
Question.....do you have a video of using a tower with a tv monitor along with a keyboard and mouse??
I do not. Same rules apply though
So my pc is older. It only has a few connections in the back. It does have a 15 pin FEMALE blue input with a monitor illustration by it. It has NO hdmi hookups, but many USB ports. My tv also has a black RGB connector, but it is FEMALE as well, also 15 pin. Am I gust going to have to piece it together with cables and connections? Please help if u can. Thanks, man!
So not helpful. SHOW NOT TALK
I disagree.
@@Softerkek I'm quite sure you do. Guaranteed

Ok mine isn't working why?
User error
Do you think comptia A+ is needed as well?
I guess it depends on the job you are applying for.
Hello I had tried to connect the cables exactly the way you hit showing them on the video from my computer to my TV and I still cannot see no computer screen on my TV I haven't hooked up the old way the way you showed it with the blue monitor hooking into HDMI I only have HDMI 1 and 2 but I don't have that on my TV I have an LG webos TV and I just cannot seem to make my computer do what you said you make my computer come to my tv as my monitor what do you think I should do
you might get the picture to show if you press Win+P button combination. from there you should see option to show the picture on the pc, same picture on both, extended picture from the pc to the tv or tv alone. you should also take a look at the connector of the tv and take a note what hdmi port you are connected to. most tv's should pic up automatically which hdmi port you are using, but it depends on the age of the tv. for example my old 2007 Mirai or 2008 Sony had no idea if i switched my pc on or not. but my current Panasonic 2012 model will automatically detect that hdmi cord is connected and the pc is on.
Step one:don't
It was not helpful
what monitor are you using? I am looking for a good work-from home monitor that doubles as a TV
Great and timely video for me. Was trying to do this yesterday. Didnt realize my TV was such an awesome monitor. Thanks for the short and easy to understand video.
Glad it helped!
This isn't in Spanish.
i am using my tv as a moniter cuz i have no room to use it on my acer moniter cuz i been using that for a televison bye hooking up a amazon firestick bluray player and a switch so there was no room for me to hook up a pc on my moniter so i used the tv tvs do work on pc it got hdmi ports some tvs have pc picture
Great Video... was hoping to find my problem... I did it the way you said and the TV doesn't show the computer. I have (1)HDMI port on the computer and 3 on the TV... I have tried all three using their HDMI numbers. but nothing... and ideas, thnx in advance... (edited)... it is Not the cable traded with one that works.
Try to look up the settings for your Operating System for the screen. If windows have the computer plugged into the TV and choose settings, then system, display, then play with the settings from there. Hopefully this helps.
Did you figure it out???
Really great video, thank you! 😊
You're so welcome!
Did he fall?
He did not!
Cool robot 🤖
❤
Very cool 😂❤
I want the TV to be a second computer monitor with the ability to drag and drop is that possible why didn't you talk about this
You can do this. You just need to configure your screen settings. I will consider this for another video. Thank you,
Cheers
Hey Thomas I am currently working as software engineer for a F500 . I am currently have a public trust. I want to break into cybersecurity specifically ethical hacking. My goal is to focus in the beginning on penetration testing on web security and malware reverse engineering to save companies and people I was thinking about getting a security+ first and from there walk my way up. What is your thoughts on it I would appreciate any roadmap for software engineer moving into ethical hacking. I have been working professionally for 1.5 years as Full stack engineer focusing on Java , python on the backend. Reactjs , html , css , JavaScript , Jquery on the frontend. I also use sql , Docker and some internal tools. I am very proficient in programming language. Thanks
Thank you for your question. I myself am working on breaking into security! My best recommendation is to look at the job postings for ethical hacking and see what certifications or experience they may be looking for. Also, try to get on the phone or email with a headhunter and they probably have some good insight. Hopefully this helps.
@@Theunstoppableoneisyou thanks
This video has a lot of editing for a 4 minute video.
It takes a lot of work to make such a great video.
@@Theunstoppableoneisyou lol!
I'm roughly 1/3 of the way through Prof. Messer's new course for the 701 exam, and it was very encouraging to know someone passed tackling it using the same study strategies. Thanks for the tips, I can't wait to move forward!
Good luck to you!
I have a TV and my PC with both HDMI inputs and is working fine, I just need to find the way to turn on and off the TV (monitor) without using the TV remote.
Does your smart TV have an app you can use with your phone?
@@Theunstoppableoneisyou It is an older HDTV TV it doesn't have a VGA connection.
So I have a vga connection right? Wow, anyway
Can you walk me through your actual study process? As in flash cards, how long you studied each day, what seemed to work best for you . I too am new to IT and would like to pass this exam as well . Thank you for the video it was extremely helpful
Thanks for your question. Bottom line, study as much as possible. Instead of watching tv, I would spend the time watching professor messer. Depending on your ability to focus for long periods of time, I like to study at 5-15 minute intervals then take a break.
How about some input related to if your screen just doesn't magically display
Nice short and sweet explanation thanks
😮😮😮
How many coins was the tower?
Over 900!
😮
How can you set up a wireless mouse and keyboard to this or can you? Should you get a multi port USB connection for this if need be?
You would just use a wireless mouse on your computer…
You would just plug the usb reciever ( dongle ) for the Keyboard and mouse to a usb port and then have the Keyboard and mouse with you. If you use A Logitech wireless mouse and keyboard with Logitech Unifying support - you can pair both to one reciever so you don't have to use up 2 usb ports.
love the way you say "hook up"😆
Why did you take the courses starting with the last one? It's good to know that they don't depend on each since 1 & 2 are old hat.
Hey Thomas! Great video, firstly :D Well, I used to be an online IT technical support agent for about 2+ years (before becoming a software developer). However, I am fortunate enough to score an offer locally that offers candidates full and free access to some Google certificates, including this one. And I must admit that I had a blast learning so far. I really like how Google structures the information and how they use each presenter to show the learners all of the topics. I guess the only difficulty for me (so far, again) is the Networking module, as it dives quite deep into networking which I don't really know and understand that well myself (well I don't do network supporting that often anyway). I would say that the course can definitely give newcomers great basic ideas about IT, computers, etc ... Even as someone who's done the job before, I still find the course to be valuable and can help me cover the weaker gaps I have in my knowledge. So that's my personal experience with the whole IT Support certificate :D Hopefully, this can help everyone here to have a better idea.
Hey Thomas, thanks for sharing your thoughts and insights for getting my Security+ certification on time, Great help.
One reason why I take online courses is because I want to learn new things that interest me and improve my knowledge. If I don’t, I would end up wasting ALL my free time on playing video games or watching TV shows. I still play video games and watch TV shows to relax but I am also getting certificates.
