The pilots are confused as they are saying that was wierd. something went wrong with communications and led to this.
certainly the communication by ATC was not standard, first gave the vectors and then the go around instruction which naturally generated confusion. Issue resolved after a double check.

Love Ord atc but he really should have clearly said go around at first instead instead of telling you your altitude and heading Edit: I see why you went around now. When you were cleared to land he said that the available exit was at Delta-Delta which is further down the runway than the usual exit to 28c, so the traffic ahead of you took longer to exit the runway.
That’s why we got confused!

@@jr13227 That's right, you usually don't see these kinds of communication deviations in the states, rule of thumb, always double check. Thank you so much for the good wishes.
@@AnX8765 After watching the video a couple of times, it becomes clear what the controller said. In that cabin and at the time, with factors like workload due to weather, it didn't sound so clear. Yes, we missed the instruction, I actually said in Spanish "Who, we?" so I instructed the FO to confirm. Maybe even the controller's voice influenced. Anyway, we executed a go round after confirmation. Thanks for watching and comment

@@manune100 If you look closely in the video, you can see the lights of what appears to be traffic leaving the runway to the right. They are pulling up to the holdshort line just as the controller calls go around -- good chance that airplane is still over the holdshort line by the time you would have touched down.
They went around because there was still someone stuck in the latrine... The captain...

Muy buen despegue... llevo desde pequeñito volando en aviones... y tengo una idea de ser auxiliar de vuelo (azafato de vuelo) no sé si lo podré lograr, pero lo intentaré! :) felicidades por su vuelo :) el 24-12-12 vuelo desde malaga a barcelona, espero tener un vuelo agradable... :)
Si. Explicando un poco mas tu pregunta a lo largo del vuelo vamos contactando diferentes dependencias de control de trafico aéreo cada una de ellas cuenta con una frecuencia, al sintonizar dicha frecuencia escuchamos todo lo que se transmite en la misma, algo así como cuando cambias la estación de radio en tu coche pero con la particularidad de que aquí podemos transmitir. Solo puede transmitir una estación a la vez ya que la comunicación es de una vía. SALUDOS
