Overrated

The Unrivaled 3v3 format exposes the weakness of most of what unrivaled are calling the best players. The only plus is that it is forcing the WNBA to play a Caitlan Clark fast tempo type game and this could move the league to a more exciting game if they get a new group of players with these skills or some of the existing players can develop these skills. The NBA does have a lot of these type of players and if they created a 3v3 summer league it could replace the WNBA summer league.

Totally agree! I can't think of one good thing about Unrivaled. Bad announcing. Bad camera work. Small space with limited number of fans. Boring, boring, boring!!! Won't be watching anymore games, but will be counting down until WNBA's opening day.

I honestly think that all the money that has poured in, is it's downfall. Injuries and the WNBA reaction aside, it's supposed to be fun FFS! Instead it's more of the same political tribal garbage. It is not worth the time to watch. There are no real stars. All Unrivaled did was export the poor technical sklills to another league. Air balls, traveling, missed layups, and missed free throws were everywhere. The only positive I saw is that more players are starting to pass the ball like CC #22 and that came from the WNBA. Not impressed with the announcers, camera angles, or pace of the production. The winning score rule is a gimmick.

I watched purely out of boredom, but I knew the Rose wouldn't play Lexie much and the first series she was in, they didn't pass to her at all.

If the league does not generate money how long can it last. The viewership from the first night was 400,000. That is very poor. They are only seating 500 people at the arena. Believe they don’t want the embarrassment of not filling a bigger venue. It should be held in at least a 3000 seat venue. Media continues to HYPE AR.
