Stephen E. Whitfield in his book "The Making of Star Trek", tells a story about the twin girls in this episode. The production was having a hard time finding twin girls who were young, good looking, and could act. Producer Robert Justman was driving down the street one day, and he spotted these two girls. "Can you act? Come and see me at Paramount". They had no acting experience. They showed up in Justman's office wearing mini skirts with tinkling bells. And they had their pet bobcat with them. They were 17 years old.
Wait when he says, he lying, hey lying, when he says he is lying, so it must be the truth, but it cant be the truth cause mudd says, he is lying.....😂😂
I'd love to see how the highest tech form of Androids currently available right now Sophia/ ProjectRIA,Ameca,Beomni and Tesla bot would react to this scenario!
Those female robots most closesly resemble in mental functioning and attitude, the late 20's, "wokey wokey" urban, female, dweller of our current time. Also, the blank look on their face. Go to any bar or club in NYC or LA and you will see it.
its evident they were in 60's. this series is full of lisergic psychedelic scenes. the lier paradox sussists just because they were operating with the very limited first order logic
I love how the other androids seem to be more surprised than afraid of kirk playing golf with an invisible explosive and spock talking in a way STRAIGHT out of computer class!
3 & 11.

I didnt know Star Trek had an episode with the sexbots from Austin Powers
MAGA outwitted with truth! We can adapt this Maga fascist threat.
Fembots are everywhere, Six Million Dollar Man, Bionic Woman, Austin Powers and even Star Trek.
Nimoy held back a laugh at 1:16.
Bringing home the Bacon I see?
I feel like one of best uses of this scene would to be randomly show it to people out of context and without explanation 😂
When spock speaks to the android what logic is it makes me laugh "logic is a wreath of pretty flowers which smell bad".

They edited out the part where Captain Kirk f*** ed The fembots to death!
To blow the droids’ circuits, I’d describe the plot of Picard season 2.
Fem-bots
VERY KOOKY Episode but better than watching "Way To Eden" or "Trouble With Tribbles"
That’s not Scotty
this is how it feels to file a tax return
It won't work! I've been messing with AI's the last few weeks and they just tell me to seek help.
2:48 a moment of artistic creativity of television drama.
I wish some high school drama students would reenact this entire scene as an ode to the best seat trek crew of the Enterprise.
I would have kidnapped that android for a few days….
I love where they’re all maniacally laughing over Scottie’s death, along with Kirk, and he immediately shushes them with a quick arms gesture!

Scotty is literally the best, this episode just proves it 😃🤭
All Cretins are Liars!
Couple of sets of identical twins used in this show
is it me or does it look like the male android is happy got my drift
Everyone on earth 🌎 in the 21st century is an android. It doesn't work❤️They really are nothing like real human beings

Kirk has talked a number of machines to death. His trail of computer victims include Norman, Landru, the M-5 and Nomad.
Also, the human attendees of the 1978 Saturn Awards when he performed 'Rocket Man'
@@alansmithee183 Haha! William is a very special "singer"
My least favorite Star Trek.
Fn awesome, heeeheee
I have a feeling Shatner was given an opportunity to direct this scene.
🙃. The Android Sisters. 😁🥴
this must have been fun for the actors to act out
Like long before android phones
Mudd fit right in with regular cast so well. Wish he would have had more appearances
I love how the other androids seem to be more surprised than afraid of kirk playing golf with an invisible explosive and spock talking in a way STRAIGHT out of computer class!
Did McCoy say Spock botched a colon test? 😮
Kirk always did enjoy frying AIs
Love Mudd! In fact I've watch the actor in other roles and like him.
This is the reaction from people when they realize politicians don't care
just exasperated him into overload
Some of the old costumes really exaggerated what the guys had in their pants.
Why isn't "Norman" perceptive enough to sense that the whole thing was being faked?
The Alices were actual twin sisters.
This sequence is pretty stupid.
We all whistled when we pretended to fire our finger phasers.
Dude that happiness line killed me! LOL!
