Too many lost fish! Hooked a Chum?! - Vedder River Salmon Fishing
Couple more days out on the river. Finally got into my first salmon of the season. Monkey off my back! Some productive days but still waiting for that holy grail fishing day when the bite is non-stop.
Probably need some more rain but I've heard of some good reports. Water is still low and very clear. I think you just need to get lucky and find a run with a decent amount of fish holding in it that day.
Been having lots of fun recording and making/editing the videos. Let me know if theres anything else you guys want to see.
Thanks for tuning in 🤙

Early Season Salmon Fishing - Vedder River
มุมมอง 3.6Kหลายเดือนก่อน
Spent some time on the Vedder trying to get the monkey off my back in search of the first fish of the fall salmon season. Consensus: the fishing has been slow, even for early season. In past years, it seems like people were reporting better success half way through September however its been slow for many others this year as well. The lack of rain and low water levels are most likely playing a ...
Mill Lake Kayak Fishing - Abbotsford, BC
มุมมอง 2772 หลายเดือนก่อน
Wanted to take the kayak out for one more rip before I put it away. Very productive and fun day on the water as there were several species of fish that reside in this lake. I will probably wait until they stock the local lakes with rainbow trout before going out for another trip on the kayak. Comment below if you have any questions. Thanks for watching 🤙
Trout and Sunfish Fishing - Lower Mainland
มุมมอง 1312 หลายเดือนก่อน
Recently purchased a Go Pro and wanted to start vlogging my fishing/outdoor activities for the memories. If people happen to watch and tag along, even better! Just trying to kill some time before the fall salmon season picks up here in the lower mainland. Recently purchased a Go Pro and fishing kayak so I wanted to take it the out for a spin on one of our local lakes. Also spent some time fishi...
Multi species day! Awesome
Nice video
Lol. I was right beside you guys. At the hopedale run. Did you get footy of the 2 guys bickering all morning 🤣
I believe I was trying to haggle with bill about the raven
Hahaha oh yea, it’s fun going back and watching all the videos of random stuff. Bill is still trying to sell that rod I think 😂
Tight lines!!
Niice!
Black Crappie!
I honestly love those fish haha Fun to catch on light gear!
Do I work with you too? I recognize Jeff in some shots. I think he told me about this Chum.
Haha used to. I was an RN in ER for several years so I always saw you whenever you were seeing patients in emerg. Too timid to ask you about your fishing adventures though at the time. But I’ve been watching your stuff for years 😂 Jeff’s a good fishing buddy of mine.
@TheFishingNurseChronicles yeah man... I don't bite. Ask Jeff. I'm always open to talk fishing haha.
haha I saw you were able to get Tony into some beautiful springs out in Sand heads too!
@@TheFishingNurseChronicles oh yeah... we had a good day out there. Good action.
Hooked a chrome chum few days ago. From far you wouldn’t tell till you brought it to shore. It was beautiful tho. Haven’t seem one so silver and shiny shiny like that
Yup, I’ve heard of a lot of people getting into chum right now. Hopefully their numbers start to improve!
Where is my catches you filmed me hammering them lol
Haha is this Mulie Addiction?bro, I honestly would’ve included you but wasn’t sure if you were ok with being in the video so I just played it safe 😂 but yea dude, you were putting on a clinic that day!
@@TheFishingNurseChronicles all good do you have video of that coho jumping lile crazy?
I probably do, let me go through my footage again, do you want me to send it to you?
I have been wasting my days fishing the rivers where the fish are not in yet and exhausting myself lol. Nice work out there!
Thanks man! They are in thick now! Let me know if you want to ever fish together!
Are you associate of fishing doctors?
haha Im assuming you are referring to @thefishingdoctorsadventures. I've messaged him through social media before and I've ran into him working at the hospital a couple times. Not sure if he realized it was me though. But not associated with him or his channel at all. He's got fantastic videos though!
New to fishing. Where in the river would you recommend fishing?
Where were you in the second part of the vid. Looked besutiful
With this rain that just came through, fish should be very where. Canal is always a good bet, just time the tides. You can fish amongst the crowd if it doesn’t bother you much. Usually if there’s a ton of people, it means it’s a run that’s been producing fish. But there’s spots where no one is fishing and you’d be surprised how many fish you can run into. Some people don’t mind the crowds, others do.
lets goo
Day 3 in a row is maddness .I fished 6 in a row last October
Cool vid. I always fish at least one day near you lol. I was opposite you last year and I was skunked ha ha while you were catching ha ha
Thanks man! Next time say what’s up! Always down to shoot the shit with other anglers on the river haha
Sounds good, I'll say hello next time :)
Love the slow mo shots! Great video!! :)
Lets get itttt
thanks for the footage. So whats the deal with the canal for parking. You have to walk in or can you park near where you fished?
Depends on the day and whether or not the dyke road is open. Currently it’s closed due to the flood restoration work. Bunch of trucks going up and down so anyone who parks there will get their car towed most likely. Gotta walk in right now unfortunately.
@@TheFishingNurseChronicles would you still that area for fishing next few weeks? walking in of course?
@@maggiecrysler Honestly, once it rains and the the water levels come up a bit, anywhere on the canal will most likely have fish. But if that happens, you should be able to fish any part of the lower river and catch fish as long as the run has some decent depth and a moderate flow. Canal is always great up until mid October I'd say. After that, I'd focus on other parts of the river as more fish will most likely be holding in runs further up. Pro tip is time the tides if you are fishing the canal.
@@TheFishingNurseChronicles thank you on the tides; what tides would i be looking at? point atkinson plus 6 hrs? or?
@@maggiecrysler I've heard multiple things from more experienced fisherman. But the average that Ive heard is take the New West tide, add on 2-3 hours. But ive also heard as little as 1 hr and as much as 4 hrs until it hits the Vedder. I know each days is different as well and its not always consistent. Safe bet is just to fish the canal within the next 4 hrs of high tide at New West.
Tangina phone call creds to me😂😂😂
haha all you hear is Bill yelling. Too bad I couldnt land her 🤣
LET's GO!
Friday, we will get into them!
This video is so sick!
I'm going out this coming weekend and cannot wait to catch some fish!!
Loving the car tunes!! Country all the way!
Haha always love to blast some country tunes on the way to the river. Good luck this weekend! I’ll be out there as well! Let’s hope we get into some fish!
@@TheFishingNurseChronicles oh awesome!! Can't wait! This is my first trip of the season. Hoping to hit my limit haha
3 Hail Marys and good luck 👍awesome catch
Nice video man I like the editing !
Thanks man! I’ve watched a lot of your videos too! Keep it up!
sick dude, keep em coming!
awesome
nice!
Awesome.. what were you guys using? Beads?
Yup, soft beads. The bigger ones were the ticket that day. I prefer using smaller beads myself but these spring aren’t afraid of the golf ball size presentations I guess 😂
@@TheFishingNurseChronicles hahah awesome thanks for responding!!
Let’s goooooo
do a video in your nurses uniform!
Haha maybe I’ll break out the scrubs for one day on the river or lake 😂
Great video!
That was so funnn
Nice vid bro!
Good vid! Makes me want to take a trip to that lake this fall 👏👏👏
Thanks man! I’ve enjoyed your videos as well. Yea this lake should be super fun once they stock it with rainbows this fall. Will definitely head back 🤙🏼
