Into the Wilderness / pt.2 a church a well and gifts

Part.2 just finished. We enter into the wilderness of turkana leaving the main road far behind. In search of a village that has been making 20-50 mile treks for water. In this video you see a catholic church and its father. Then you see a example of how these people retrieve their water and finally us giving our gifts to the elders and seeking permission to come to their community and provide a...
First time to Turkana / Pt.1 arrival and buying gifts for the tribe elders
มุมมอง 3.9K3 ปีที่แล้ว
We arrived safely to the mythical land of the Turkana tribe. The sun beating down on us. And miles upon miles of dry land. I could tell as soon as we arrived that life here isnt easy. This purpose of this voyage was to go and find the location for the well. And also to show those who wish to know a closer look as to what life is like for the people out here.

Baptize in the Name of Jesus Christ! Acts 2:38
Bro Levi, I enjoyed your testimony last night in Cedar Park. I didn’t have time to talk to you, but we have a group in Uganda that we started via zoom. My husband teaches one of them and they go back and teach the others. There have been over 100 baptized and several filled with the Spirit. We will be donating to your mission very soon. God bless you, friend.
New York City must experience what it's like to not have clean Drinking water...every year in the spring and summer they dump hundreds of millions of metric tons of clean drinking water onto the streets from every fire hydrant all around the city it is a strange thing how many people do not appreciate what they have

Awesome!!! May yahweh bless you all stay safe. Much love and respect.
Thank you Brandon.
Kenya is full of water if only government can consider drilling Wells then this white men can't be filming un necessaries..why can they come and film mt Kenya County or western or rift Valley only showing how poor we are
Maybe because the poor are the ones who need help. People are starving and dying in kenya. Come join us on a mission and see with your own eyes. Our perspective is our reality. Expand your perspective and expand your reality. Would you really rather we spend all our time filming rich people in kenyan who lack nothing rather than doing what we can to help those who need it most?
Amazing!
Thank you.
God bless you all!! 🙏
Thank you Diana, and thank you for watching our video. May God bless you in all you do.

Non avete mai pensato come sarà fra qualche anno ? I bimbi saranno quante volte moltiplicati ? E allora volontari cosa aspettate a insegnare a usare i contraccettivi ?

you don't understand how drought and famine can affect a area or country. things are going good there is plenty of food so you have children. then drought or famine comes and now there is no food. it can happen anywhere at anytime. as Christians it's our duty to serve where we can.

And we think we have problems here 🤦🏼♀️ One of our most basic needs as human beings, clean water, these people have fought for every drop. Until now! This is such a heartwarming and beautiful video! So glad y’all do what you do. With God all things are possible!! ♥️♥️
You should google and learn about Kenya. You may see cities as developed as USA. But people who go to Africa will never show you those parts.
@@teresiawachira1034 There are plenty of videos like that on TH-cam. Our focus is on those who don't have access to clean safe water or the Gospel of Jesus Christ. tens of millions of people in East Africa alone don't have consistent access to clean safe water. If you are in Kenya I always welcome you to join us on our missions out to these areas to see for yourself. Fill out a contact form on our website at lightofeastafrica.org or email me directly at lightofeastafrica@gmail.com

I don't understand why the African people can't come together and figure out how to drill a well? It's mind-boggling! Water is the most basic and the most important necessity for all humans. All those people with plenty of free time can't figure out how to dig a well.. The Amish people live without any modern technology and their communities thrive! The Amish dig wells with very basic tools.. like African families the Amish also have 10 children in one family but their children are well fed, clean, educated, disease free, and taught to be hard workers! The Amish reject modern medicine and they refuse outside help.. yet they are extremely successful. They are talented and hard working farmers and craftsman who provide well for their families. There is a cultural problems in Africa, only the African people can change that. The Amish is proof that a community can be successful without any modern convinces.
Hi there and thank you for your comment, poverty causes many problems and the kind of poverty you find in these areas are beyond anything we know in the west, the Amish don't live in Poverty, another thing to note is you can't just figure out how to drill a well when the water is 600 feet or more below the surface you need heavy machinery and a lot of money to access that water, many of these people lack basic education and the ability to read or write.
How much does it cost to drill one of these wells?
It depends on a few different factors. it can range between $14,000 and $25,000 it can be cheaper or more expensive but generally that's the range.
@@lightofeastafrica8017.. Hi, what about shallow well ? Mine is 65ft .is it the same price?

Thank you so much for your encouraging comment, I pray it does. The more people we can make aware of this work, then the more lives we can change and save together.
Thank you

I'm sorry I don't understand what you are trying to say.
I actually don't know those people at such counties only have their county govt to blame .You will be surprised to know that the so called marginalized counties in Kenya such as Turkana,Lamu,Garrissa,Mandera,Taveta just to name a few receive the largest county allocation funds from the National govt yet they look as such Some actually receive funds double that is allocated in areas such as central Kenya yet the population in central Kenya doubles theirs
@@martinchege6256 yeah the big problem is how the governement uses their funds. Which is often to buy up more land or buy anotger land rover. While the people starve and continue to have to walk kilometers for water.
