I collected Case knives for years, and a then I bought a Great Eastern Cutlery knife. I never knew you could get a production knife made in the USA without issues. The walk and talk, the centered blades, GEC knives are the best production knife made. Recently I sold over 100 Case knives for dimes on the dollar so I could have more storage space for more GEC’s. My collection of GEC’S has now doubled in value as well. But I ain’t sellin!!!!

I have my great grandfather's Case Stockman he bought new back in 1971. I also have my Case Trapper I got for my birthday 2 months ago. I love both of those knives. Case's quality is still top notch after 52 years.

Are they made in the USA or China?

I recall as a kids when on vacation we drove through Missouri quite a bit. I will never forget all those yellow and red billboard ads for "Walnut Bowl's/Chicago Cutlery" were all along the way between Joplin and Rolla. We always wanted to stop. Finally, one year we did, and it turned out that our dad, who was the most reluctant to fall off schedule on the road, was the one who lingered in there the longest shopping. I think this was before the Case inventory or maybe it was just much smaller at that time. We got a kitchen cutlery set from Chicago Cutlery. I plan to take a mini-vacation this year to visit again for a Case or two. Thanks for putting this together. It's really great to see the people behind those memories on the road.

I got my case pocket knife to emmulate my Pa. I have 3 now. And I know they will last longer than I will, an will be razor sharp, till I die. A man's knife.

Great video and look into the skills involved in making these knives. I've yet to add one to my collection, but after watching this I'll be looking for a modern traditional style knife from Case soon!

I'm 69 years old still love case. I collect them as often as I can. Case is number 1 with me and my family. You cannot top case for collect abilities. Case is the undesputed leader in traditional pocket knives.

I've carried my case trapper over 30 years. I call it my TOENAIL KNIFE. Never had to worry about people wanting to use it.

I don't know if anyone look at the comments on the old video. But Officer Kendle Glen Blackburn is my dad we lost him in December 2020 and I rewatch this video every time that miss him why that you ask become this the only video we have of him

the term Hand Crafted cant be used when it is mass produced like that. No different to Chinese Mass Production. Go look at Chris Reeve Knifes then you can say hand crafted. Case is mass production and in South Africa I find that they over priced for what you get. Sorry but it is what I see. I really want to get me a Medium Stockman 90mm closed length but it simply is not worth the money.

There picky about what they repair now.I sent in two,and got sent back.disappointed.

Shepherd Hills was a wonderful place to visit and shop My family stopped in on spring break in 2021 and spent about two grand there in an hour and had a ball doing it The sales ppl were very helpful and courteous My wife who isn’t very keen on my knife addiction was happy as a clam finding gifts in the gift shop and bargain area for the girls for their Christmas Stockings and walked out with a pile of them! My daughter in law found a great set of kitchen cutlery at a great price so everyone was very happy even the Reid Family Thanks SHC!

I have my dads whittler pocket knife. He got it in 1927 with 3 pieces of candy for his Christmas gift. He had 17 brothers and sisters.

I love my Case knives. I own a dozen of them and I'll surely get more. But most of them had uneven grinds and/or were either dull or still had a burr on them. The 3 CV blades that I have were fine, so IDK if that means anything? Also 5 of my current 7 Case Stockmans have bladerub where the clippoint meets the sheepsfoot. I have a S35VN medium Stockman on the way from DLT and I trust it'll be alright, but I am a little bit anxious because I live in Europe so returning it isn't going to be a real option. I wish that companies like Case and Benchmade would make their legendary warranty more accessible to European customers🙏Anyhoo, thanks for the tour👍

Their quality control is horrible. I don't care if it's US made. That doesn't mean what it used to.

Case knives over the years have been not doing to great on the quality, have to fix about half of what I buy from them, other then that great knives

I love Case like it’s family. I still buy a couple or more every year. The quality has dramatically fallen in the last 2 decades though. I prefer a used Case knife from before 1990 to a new one. Very upsetting.

I gotta say, I've been a Buck guy since I was 12 in 1982.. but.... I just got my first Case, a Blue Caribbean Copperhead with the *ucked up english blade (sorry, forgot the name, straight edge, looks kinda like a sheep'sfoot but with a curve..) and I'm pleased with the craftsmanship. I still edc a Buck 505, but this Copperhead? Her sole job is package opener. Replaced a 1991 SOG Sidewinder in that role. Sidewinder = clip blade, lousy choice for tape......
