I'm going to be speaking about neurodivergence in Doctor who at a con or two with some other panelists. 13 is my favorite and, according to many folks who went to Gally One 2023 (I unfortunately did not so I can't personally confirm) Chris Chibnall confirmed that autistic traits were intentional in writing her character! Let me know if you want to collab on one for her :D might as well get back into posting on youtube anyway, once i've got the capacity.

I have many of the same neurodivergent traits at 10, so i'd say that he likly has AuDHD. (Like me)

13:48 - I mean, to be fair to Ten, he'd already made it very clear to Martha that he was *not* interested in her romantically, had just lost Rose (whom he was in a relationship with), that Martha was not replacing Rose, and he was not looking for a new romantic relationship. And Martha... kept ignoring that, viewed herself as the rebound and in competition with Rose, and kept pushing his boundaries because she had a crush on him and wanted him to reciprocate, when Ten had already made his stance clear and was under zero obligation to return the feelings that she was pushing onto him.

I never knew how much I love the doctor until now. I can relate so badly hahaha

How about, hear me out, we don’t scrutinize the mental stability of a multi thousand year old alien immortal who changes his face, personality, and character every time he dies; he is in charge of keeping the human race alive and safe along with keeping the universe alive. He’s under a lot of stress and clearly has mental disorders. He’s not autistic he’s just got a mix of adhd, ocd, depression, and PTSD. That and abandonment issues

This video gave me HUGE comfort. I'm exactly like that, but I don't have an autism diagnosis and I think this might help me to have... I really suspect I have autism.

The episode Midnight really emphasised the fact that despite all of his knowledge, smarts and wit, he lacked the ability to understand basic human emotions. His tactless efforts to try and earn the trust of the scared passengers (telling they needed him due to the fact he was cleverer than they were whilst being none the wiser in that situation, and also being shady about his identity) backfired and turned them against him, almost getting him killed. You could see him becoming more baffled by their behaviour because it didn't make logical sense to him.

Ngl I'd just call the 10th doctor the Silly Doctor

I never realized how neurodivergent I was until you showed me this and then I realized I do a lot of things the doctor does and I know now why I drive certain people who live with me absolutely around the bend.
