What I like about the wire is even though it acknowledges and highlights the institutions and how those may affect people and how they turn out, they do not remove responsibility from the individual and their choices and highlights the importance of making hard and good choices even if your situation is terrible. Spoilers: We know Bunk and Omar grew up together. We see bubbles try and try to get clean before eventually getting himself there. We see Namond make a choice to act on an opportunity and take a chance on himself, and also we see Colvin decide to make a difference for a young man in his community. It’s these little things amongst the hopeless cyclical landscape of the show that instill hope for the viewer that regardless of the situation, we should still strive to make the correct choices even and maybe especially when they require us to rise above our current station or do a little extra for yourself or neighbor.

Best series and show ever made. Do a video on OZ. HBO changed the game with OZ. Nothing like it before. The Wire is the best ever. But OZ allowed it to be released. Great video. Me and my wife watch the wire once a year from start to finish. The more you know… the more nuance it shows.

The lack of english voice acting kills these games for me like pirate warriors U do specials and miss whole chunks of story

More historically informed musou, fewer anime franchises. I found a good portion of my love for DW and SW is the history. I love love love PW and all its characters and whacky stuff, but I'm a grown-up who appreciates lots of things--and anime isn't the end-all be-all of my world. One Piece is fun nonsense, and there's nothing wrong with that. But it is nonsense.

Not sure if it was mentioned but Lamar (Brother Mouzone’s assistant is Andre from The Corner, the kid who was being followed as part of the show. This was Simon’s way of paying him back and keeping him employed for originally helping out on that show as far as being one of the major focuses. He sadly passed away a few years ago due to drug overdose.

I really like the dynasty Warriors and samurai Warriors games, one piece Warriors games are in my opinion the best one piece games out there, and the other Warriors games from other franchises such as Persona, Zelda, DQ, Fire Emblem, etc,serve as a great complement to the main games on which they are based

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is hands down the best telling of that particular Legend of Zelda story. I appreciate Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom as much as the next guy, but the story telling in those games was not done well at all. Age of Calamity was the only game to do that story justice - and it did so in the most epic way possible.

These games are made for casuals with no possible fail state. Sure you could fail if you tried hard enough but realistically it wont happen I say this as a person who played orchi 3 for 1000+ hours... I prefer mosou games on ps2 but I was in primary school back then so maybe my memories are jaded

I used to hate on musous, i bought pirate warriors 3 on a youtubers suggestion and put it down after like 3 maps. I thought it was boring. But pirate warriors 4 was on gamepass when i got a series x, and it blew me away. The gameplay was so smooth. And even though it wasnt really "deep", it gave enough room for buildcraft, which i always get hooked on, and then i got why ppl obsess over these. Next thing i know, i'm buying warriors orochi 3 and 4, dynasty warriors 7,8, and 9 and even am willing to put up with the shame of owning the senran kagura games. I love them all now (minus dynasty warriors 9). I think it just takes the right game to unlock the musou fan hiding deep in all of us. The right combinations of systems and characters to make the genre click.

A nice detail with Sindri is that after Brock dies when you find him working in the forge you can see he’s filthy and not wearing gloves. His fear of germs has been completely erased by his grief and anger. He is a fundamentally different person than we’ve come to know throughout the rest of the game and its predecessor

The story is so beautifully written, how a doomed character like Kratos found peace n redemption through the people around him.

Ever since my brother gave me a copy of dynasty warriors 5 I could never stop loving the series, it’s just so FUN!!!

The story is very special too me. Possibly one of my most favorite games. If I go back and play again it’s a good game. I lost my father when I was sixteen, fast forward almost 20 years… yeah… it got me. Reminded me. I was very very rebellious. Another touch is Christopher judge as kratos, my father and I watched the entire stargate saga lol. Little.. bittersweet. About 2/3 the way through ragnarok. Love it. Absolutely love it.

I played some Musou game on the xbox 360 almost a decade and a half ago that had robot armies but I can't find it.

I would like them to try a European musou, maybe do it orochi style and blend a bunch of characters together. Imagine Robin hood teaming with William tell fighting Julius Caesar and blackbeard or

I want to see a Smash Bros Ultimate type musou game. Like give me every character in Smash bros ultimate, with the gameplay of Warriors Orochi 3 and a mix of Hyrule Warriors DE. That would be the greatest musou of all-time. They can do the whole time travel thing and travel to different universes so every character would make sense. Adapt the Adventure Mode from Hyrule Warriors and put their own spin on that....idk I just think that would be the game of all games lol.

The all musou included Sengoku or Sangoku musou just raise up my love for video games😊, played many triple AAA games, but although i liked them i love Musou games more than ever, with few exceptions like Baldur's Gate 3, DOS 2 DE and DOS1 DE, or even Elden Ring...
