Maleny Bird World
The collection of birds at the Maleny Botanic Gardens and Bird World is an absolute "must see" if you are visiting the Maleny area. You can get up close and personal with lots of exotic birds from all parts of the world. The Tour is extremely well conducted and very educational. Children of all ages will love this Tour and remember it as unique. Make sure that you take your camera.
It was an incredible experience to be surrounded by so many beautiful and interesting birds and have them flying right up to us to perch on arms, shoulders, heads and even backs.
Daily Interactive fully guided Aviary Tours - 10:30AM, 11:30AM, 12:30PM, 2:00PM and 3:30PM
Please note:
They recommend ALL jewellery, glittery items and hats with buttons be removed prior to the tour as our birds love to borrow and play with these items and can be very quick.
If you prefer to just enjoy watching the birds they will provide you with a feather duster which lets our birds know to keep their distance from you.

Better to go high tide or low tide?
Its based on what you’re planning to do. If you want calmer experience then better visiting at Low tide. Depending on the size of the High tide, you will find water crashing over the rocks into the Fairy pools.
