With the marine theme it includes some happy shots of her canoing on Lake Shadar, Montenegro with a dear friend in 2018. This was just before she climb...
Bamburgh Castle visit
มุมมอง 2.2Kปีที่แล้ว
We went to see Bamburgh castle, as although I have passed it, I had never been inside before but knew it had historic significance. It is great that the castle is preserved, although expensive for people to see, and disappointing that its historical signifiicance is not well developed I thought. Especially the Celtic tribes , and as the centre of the Anglo-Saxon Kingdoms that United Bernicia an...

Repairing Our GP14 Shona after being holed badly in Storm Arwen November 2021
มุมมอง 3362 ปีที่แล้ว
This a short video of the damage caused to our sailing dinghy by storm Arwen in November 2021 and some shots of her repair. A very big thank you to Niall Graham for his help and encouragement and to South Shields Sailing Club for their support and use of their excellent facilities for repairing our GP14 Shona. Of course not a professional repair but it seems to be strong and no leaks. We sailed...
Trow Rocks to Frenchman's Bay - The Leas South Shields - With Rachel's Photographs
มุมมอง 2193 ปีที่แล้ว
This is a short walk along the North Sea coast at South Shields, North east England, starting at Trow Rocks and finishing at Frenchman's Bay. We have not been here for a while and makes a "change" from the beautiful Marsden cliffs just further along. This was a smugglers coastline and Frenchman's Bay is named after a French ship that ran aground there in the 1700s. A disused stone quarry is beh...

Thanks for your comment and glad you thought it was nice. For my self quite a learning curve on mistakes I made helming as you can see my hands as well as knees as we go about. it did get better. My crew very professional that much is clear not just his back. We will see if we can get it better if we film another. it was difficult to adjust the go pro on my chest in the moment.

Divine the castle where the war of the Saxons takes place, lord uhtred, "Seven kings must die": what happened to Uhtred and Aethelstan, history or medieval reality, it is fantastic to see where these great events, beautiful and tragic moments could develop.
