Short film sailing to Marsden Bay in Shona a GP14 Mark II GRP on August 11 2024. We motor sailed back into the Tyne against a strong tide! Simon was in his Mirror was with us sorry no close shots.

Sailing Shona a MkII GRP GP14 from South Shields Sailing Club (SSSC) out of the mouth of the Tyne and in the Tyne South Shields Haven Bay on a Sunday race meeting and (we were not racing). Wind 12 -20 knts WNW up the Tyne! and NW. Thanks to Nick for the photo.

Thanks for your comment and glad you thought it was nice. For my self quite a learning curve on mistakes I made helming as you can see my hands as well as knees as we go about. it did get better. My crew very professional that much is clear not just his back. We will see if we can get it better if we film another. it was difficult to adjust the go pro on my chest in the moment.
