For anybody watching this in 2024 or later, the "connection: local" parameter was deprecated in ansible version 2.14 so you need to use "connection: ansible.netcommon.network_cli" in your multiplecommands.yml playbook. Otherwise, you'll get an error message. Also, you'll need to specify the network OS in your ansible-playbook cli command by using the "-e ansible_network_os=cisco.ios.ios" option and variable. If you're running a different network OS, you may be able to google around for the correct OS variable

Your explanation of parity is lacking. the data isnt stored to a specific parity disk. All disks are used and the parity data is partitioned among all drives. If one drive gives out, the remaining drives contain the data needed to restore the new drive as a collective.
