It says $600 from Suzuki Tool in the USA. Wow! Must be some great steel. Also I am not sure if the Japanese dont put a secondary bevel on their blades allowing them to hand sharpen without a jig.

*The weakest point in all these fancy joints is at the thinnest part. I rather go for thick strong joints. It'll last a thousand years.*
