I'm AKHIRA‼︎
I like woodworking born in 1985!
I'm making a video to let everyone in the world know about the amazing traditional Japanese fittings!
It's not a how-to video, but enjoy the process of processing with only hand tools!

Amazing hand carving by Japanese.Mysterious wood joinery"Shihou Kanawa Taugi".
This Japanese joinery looks the same from all four sides.
Therefore, it is a very mysterious and interesting wood joinery that does not know how to join and how to remove it.
This time, please take a look at how to carefully make it by hand using a saw and a chisel without using any electric tools.

Japanese Wood Joinery "Daimochi Tsugi"
มุมมอง 3.1Kปีที่แล้ว
"Daimochi Tsugi" is a joint that combines the ends of both members by processing them diagonally. This method is used for log hut beams, and is ideal for connecting girders, beams, and log beams of different heights! A dowel is made on the joint surface, and the bundle is put on the joint and hardened by applying a load. #amazingwoodcarving #traditionalwoodworking #dovetailswood another respect...

So I posted a gif of this on a woodworking discord, and people laughed while claiming it was wax.

Techniques passed down from a time when the world was a very different place. Time is so expensive now work like this might as well be a purchase of a solid gold bar. Very impressive none the less, greetings from Austria
If you will make a series of videos how to do these joints you will make a lot of money. Instructional online courses. I will pay for the knowledge, just let me know what you think about it? You're doing a great job👏
Awesome👌
I was always wondering how to accurately use the chisel.. Now I know😎 Thank you for sharing.. One thing I would love to find out is how to mark these joints.. Looks quite complicated
it is beautifull !
супер заточка -браво мастеру
Guys are yall thinkin what I'm thinkin? 🚬
Holy crap!
It says $600 from Suzuki Tool in the USA. Wow! Must be some great steel. Also I am not sure if the Japanese dont put a secondary bevel on their blades allowing them to hand sharpen without a jig.
Gracias por mostrar su trabajo. Saludos.
Ahh, so thats how they made roller papers
That's how they make paper
Now that's a post it note every man can love.
Its not all about the sharpness, its straightness is more important
Yessss
Luar biasa tajam pisau dan skil pemahat yg mantap

Absolutely beautiful. Nice accuracy! Also I’ve never seen such beautiful wood!
Thank you so much😆‼️
Dios que placer de vídeo ❤😂
What type of wood is that? Thank you.
Genial. Disculpa, de casualidad a la carpintería japonesa de competición se le llama de alguna forma particular o no. Si es así, cómo llaman a eso en japón. Otra duda, ¿qué significa la palabra "kezuroukai"?
You are very underrated. Great work.
Wish I knew how your work bench looks like? Wish I knew what kinda tools you prefer? And what kinda tools you use? And what kinda wood you prefer? Thank you for sharing. 🎏⛩️🙏🏽

Japan chisel
Unfortunately, I can’t find the exact words to describe your achievement. Sorry. Thanks always.
Creating such an accurate joint , using only basic, but essential hand tools, is , absolutely, beyond description. Thanks always.
What brand are the chisels?

海洋堂かバンダイ辺りでフィギアにしてくれないかなw
それいいですねー! オファーお待ちしてます😆‼︎
Awesome!
Thank you😆‼️
*The weakest point in all these fancy joints is at the thinnest part. I rather go for thick strong joints. It'll last a thousand years.*
Compliment for tutorial!!👍
