Uploading mostly rare music that isn't already on TH-cam (and wasn't created by AI). Music that interests me includes all genres of '50s and '60s music, novelty songs, vocal groups, orchestral pop instrumentals, vanity and private-label recordings, outsider music, song-poems, surprising crossovers and collaborations, humorous missteps, celebrity vocalists, topical and event songs, international pop and country music, and miscellaneous oddball stuff. Visit the Music Weird at musicweird.blogspot.com for some of my music writings.

I always remember watching it on the Disney Channel. But now I wish to remember all the lyrics.
Thanks a lot for this mate !
GREAT, HULA HOOP
Omg how awfuø 😂
Bought this record
Used my old orange gretsch for that. Fun day.
Peggy Little !
Someone said that Dick was being contrasted with Tony Bellus (Robbin' the Cradle).
Makes sense. They were both accordion players who were marketed as teen idols.
Somewhat competitive with Jerry Murad's Harmonicats. Two instead of three - One man and one woman this time around.
Jimmie Skinner Music Center in Cincinnati, Ohio - a historic landmark in the city.
What a bloody mess.
Ross Bagdasarian's instrumental under the David Seville monicker. Later lyricized to become "Yeaterday and You".
More reverb!
I love it when I pick and listen to the weird stuff that shows up on my TH-cam feed, and I get other weird stuff in my suggestions, like this! Never heard of it never heard of him. I'm going to have to look it up on Wikipedia and see what's up.
Oooooooo-kaaaaaaaaay???? 🤔
Is this trip really necessary? Amazing how talent manifests its' festers...
Never heard of this guy. I think he might be high, or in pain…. or something else.
Nah
I really love this song, and have loved it "for years".
Hide your shame, smokers...
I grew up with the Hulsey/Spivey sisters. ❤
Knockout ❤

JAMES DARREN (1936 - 2024)
Le Bow! This pice of music makes me want to jump over Niagara Falls....
MAGNIFICA. VOZ 😅😊
My favorite country singer of all times
So silly. I love it.
.....having been born there myself, did he choose 'Springfield Mass' arbitrarily, Greg? Have NO info on the origins of this.....
I assume it's just a pun on his name, but I don't know, sorry.
kendrick... is that you?
Can't beat a bit of Worecambe and Mise, cheers Greg ;)
FROM THE GOOD OLD DAYS WHEN "GAY" WAS SIMPLY A SYNONYM FOR "HAPPY."😀 I WAS 6 YEARS OLD WHEN THIS RECORDING WAS RELEASED, BUT NEVER HEARD IT. I AND MY TWO SIBLINGS SHARED STACKS OF CHILDRENS RECORDINGS LIKE THIS THAT WE WORE OUT FROM PLAY. ONE I VIVIDLY RECALL WAS: "AT THE ZOO." ALSO, "TUGGY THE LONESOME TUG BOAT."
Could you please upload Side 2 (Always My Love)?
She reminds me of Peggy Little with her high voice and vibrato ,I think Peggy sings this also.
Might be Peggy , listened to the other version , not much difference.
THIS SINGER HAD AN EXCELLENT VOICE. AS SOMETIMES OCCURS WITH THESE OBSCURE SINGERS, I COULD FIND NO INFORMATION ABOUT HIM ON THE WWW EXCEPT FOR A SHORT INTRODUCTORY NOTICE ON FACEBOOK ABOUT HIS DEATH. I TRIED TO LOG INTO FACEBOOK BUT WAS UNSUCCESSFUL. THEY KEPT SCREWING UP MY G.MAIL ACCOUNT #, WOULD SEND ME A PASSWORD CODE THAT FLASHED ON AND DISAPPEARED SO FASTLY THAT I COULDN'T WRITE IT DOWN, ETC. I GAVE UP.🙉🙈 MAYBE YOU CAN GET SOME PERSONAL INFO ON HIM TO PASS ALONG.
Great one!
This is incredible. I've been seeking out pieces of the Maskull puzzle for years. Thanks for the upload
PURO REFRITO DE OTROS TEMAS...QUÉ CÍNICO.
I GOT A LOT OUT OF THIS VIDEO OF THE MUSIC OF LESLIE THOMPSON BAXTER. BORN IN THE TINY TOWN OF MEXIA,TEXAS IN 1922, HE PASSED AWAY IN 1996 IN NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA AT AGE 73 FROM A HEART ATTACK AND KIDNEY FAILURE. HE WAS DESCIBED AS SUFFERING FROM EXTREME SENILITY, BUT BACK IN THE MID NINETIES NOT MUCH WAS KNOWN ABOUT DIAGNOSING DIMENTIA AND ALZHEIMERS DISEASE, SO ONE WONDERS. ANOTHER GREAT NAME IN MUSIC FROM MEXIA, TEXAS IS THE LATE COUNTRY MUSIC SONGWRITER CINDY WALKER. EVEN THOUGH BAXTER WAS DEEPLY APPRECIATED FOR HIS EXOTIC MOOD MUSIC COMPOSITIONS ON THEME LP'S, I FIRST WAS EXPOSED TO HIS MUSIC THROUGH THE SOUNDTRACK HE WROTE FOR THE AMERICAN INTERNATIONAL RELEASE OF THE STEVE REEVES 1959 FILM, "GOLIATH AND THE BARBARIANS." I WAS ONLY FOURTEEN YEARS OLD AT THE TIME. WHAT REALLY GOT ME INTERESTED TODAY IN LES BAXTER WAS AFTER READING AN ARTICLE ON HIM ON THE INTERNET: LES BAXTER.COM ABOUT LES BAXTER. IN THIS HUGE PIECE, SKIP HELLER WENT INTO GREAT DETAIL ABOUT HIS LIFE. OF PARTICULAR INTEREST WAS THE MENTION OF THE HAGSPIEL BABY GRAND PIANO THAT BAXTER COMPOSED ON IN HIS HOME IN PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA. I HAD NO KNOWLEDGE OF THIS BRAND, MANUFACTUED IN DRESDEN, GERMANY CICA 1852-1873, BY GUSTAVE HAGSPIEL, ABOUT WHOM I CANNOT FIND ONE SCINTILLA OF INFORMATION.🙉 FOR ANYONE INTERESTED IN LES BAXTER, THE AFORMENTIONED ARTICAL IS "A MUST READ!" 🎶💎🎶💎🎶💎
Great track, Adam! Thanks for uploading this.
SHE HAD A FINE VOICE. THIS RECORDING IS OK BUT THAT LAME "FUZZ GUITAR" WASN'T A GOOD IDEA. I WOULD HAVE JUST USED OTHER INSTRUMENTS TO AUGMENT THE ORCHESTRATION AND NOT TRY TO COPY THAT GUITAR EFFECT FROM ROBBINS CLASSIC HIT RECORDING. I COULDN'T FIND ANY BIO INFO ON LAMBERT. A SITE THAT HAD HER NAME GAVE HER BIRTH AND DEATH DATES AS 1932-2013 (BORN IN WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS, DIED IN HOLLYWOOD, CALIFORNIA). BUT I AM NOT SURE IT WAS FOR THIS PARTICULAR SINGER. THE PHOTO USED TO ACCOMPANY THIS INFO WAS A PORTAIT OF JIMMY DEAN!🙈 OTHER THAN YOUR INFO ON HER ASSOCIATION WITH MITCH MILLER, I KNOW NOTHING ELSE. I LISTENED TO WHAT OTHER RECORDINGS I FOUND, BUT "ANYONE COULD LOVE YOU" WAS THE ONLY ONE I LIKED. SHE DIDN'T HAVE MUCH OF A CAREER. I CERTAINLY NEVER KNEW OF HER UNTIL NOW. AND SHE REALLY HAD A GREAT VOICE.😢
I agree--that fuzz attempt doesn't work well here.
@@gregadams8346 Thanks. Learning that you agreed made my day.🤗🎉 🥂🤝🥂🤝🥂🤝
Please upload the lip side "From Heart to Heart."
Pretty much demands a Cramps style cover....
