Die Deutschmeister (1955 movie) - How the Deutschmeister March came about [Eng Sub]
The Deutschmeister Regimental March (sometimes also referred to as the Deutschmeister March) is a military march composed in 1893 and is the best-known composition by the Austrian Wilhelm August Jurek. The march takes its name from the K.u.k. Infanterie-Regiment Hoch- und Deutschmeister Nr. 4, to which Jurek belonged at the time the march was composed.
The legend that Jurek had the idea for the Deutschmeister regimental march while stamping is by no means certain, but it is a persistent one. According to a report by a Captain from the Hoch- und Deutschmeister regiment, Corporal Jurek stamped the leave slips for the soldiers of his regiment and, in time with the boom-boom of the stamping process, he always rhythmically added the line "Mir san vom k. und k. Infanterie-Regiment Hoch- und Deutschmeister Nummero Vier" until the melody for the trio of the march was finally created.

Nee nur weil jemand Deutsch als Muttersprache hat ist er kein Deutscher und ,ich denke, fast jeder Österreicher wird widersprechen als Deutscher bezeichnet zu werden. Also da sind zwei Kaiser ,ein deutscher ,ein österreichischer . Man kann die Geschichte zwar verbiegen aber soweit nun doch nicht. Da bricht sie nämlich. Zwar war Österreich ab 38 Teil von Grossbeutschland aber das macht Österreich - Ungarn nicht zum Teil Deutschlands.
Ich empfehle, sich z.B. unter dem Stichwort "Republik Deutschösterreich" zu informieren.
Und ich empfehle Geschichte zu studieren
Nur weil man sich einen Namen gibt erfolgt nicht automatisch eine einverleibung in Sinnen Staat. Und da hatten die Sieger des ersten Weltkriegs was dagegen . Die politische Realität machte den Artikel 2 hinfällig. Fakt ist Österreich ist ein souveräner Staat der mit deutschsprachiger Bevölkerung bewohnt ist. Mit der Begründung könnte man auch folgern die Schweiz wäre Teil Deutschlands. Das würden die Eidgenossenschaft vehement ablehnen. Und das zurecht. Mag sein das wir lange Zeit einen gemeinsamen Weg gegangen sind, aber nichtsdestotrotz sind seine 1806 die politischen Wege getrennt. Kulturell haben wir viel gemeinsam ok aber das alleine langt nicht. Und was schadet es verschiedene Staaten zu haben?
Die Mutter von Romy Schneider, Magda Schneider, war auch mit von der Partie. Sie war des öfteren bei Adolf Hitler auf dem Berghof 🙂 zu Gast... nichtsdestotrotz ein entzückender Film ...
Die Majestäten wurden von Wolfgang Lukschy und Paul Hörbiger gespielt.

@RundfunkerOnline Welche "Umfragen der damaligen Zeit" sollen das sein? Nach dem I. Weltkrieg bezweifelte ein Großteil der politischen Elite Österreichs die Überlebensfähigkeit des neuen Staates. Dies war der Grund für Bestrebungen, sich an Deutschland anzuschließen. Vor dem Zusammenbruch der Habsburg-Monarchie waren wesentlich weniger Österreicher deutschnational gesinnt als dies später durch großteils ebenso gesinnte Historiker behauptet wurde. Ein musikalischer Beleg für den später geleugnet österreichischen Patriotismusfindet sich übrigens auf youtube: Franz von Suppès _Sieg der Österreichischen Volkshymne,_ eine Komposition in der die österreichische Haydn-Hymne den musikalischen Sieg über den ungarischen Rakoczy-Marsch und Moritz Arndts "Was ist des deutschen Vaterland" erringt.
