This is really funny to me because Marta originally reminded me of Catherine Zeta-Jones whose character Elena Montero fought Antonio Banderas' Zorro.

As someone who is uneducated in sword fighting, I own this game, and at least before they patched weapon weight factoring into parry outcomes, fighting a rapier wielder was so frustrating, because any sort of offense you mount ended in you running into their sword, which had a sort of "immovable rod" quality. Now I think you can swat the sword to create an opening.. but back then it caused me to put the game down more than once..

With this character wielding a shield, I'd like to see I.33 arming sword and buckler get some love in this game!

I've never heard of this game, I am impressed by the depiction of sword fighting the devs clearly put a lot of effort into how each weapon and it's stance were used in reality. Also: holy shit Marta, if she were a real person that snap at the end would have me swooning and wishing she would defend my honor.

It's a shame the default 3rd person perspective cuts some of the intro animations short. For example, Barabasz's "u ded" gesture adds so much character and we barely see it

The fact that the drunkard fighter uses a fool's guard is peak. Whether Father Zera is genius or not for it, though... I can't say.

Survival mode is so cooked right now, 1~2 years ago i could get to 30 kills easily, now i cant get past 15. The AI just become sonic on crack, moving like a 2x video.

4th fight was really good, guy really knew his reach.

I saw some people say how they can easily get to her hands, but I have trouble. The shield is a bit finicky to get around, and there are times when I see my sword hit her hand, but it's blocked. Out of all the fencers they could've added, they added one with a shield, and it can get pretty fustrating, admittedly.

I find it kind of frustrating everyone is out-ranged, but they do nothing to close distance. You think a long sword could knock away her rapier. Marta's reach seems much greater than other characters. Otherwise, I love the interaction between the swords generally speaking and it's great to see a one/two hit win condition.
