God I love this. Man. And his music❤❤❤❤
3:25 epic
absolutely INCREDIBLE does not even begin to describe this! if i had 1/10th the talent of Stevie, i'd be happy!
As alway. Stevie bring happiness to every one around him.
this guy is a true artist...even if he is gone..but the music will remain...gorgeous music..what else can i say...fuck bieber or same lame-o's as him..SRV RULLESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS FOREVEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best part = Stevie Ray. Worst part = Arsenio trying to be cool.
search baldy and burke they have great music, give this a thumbs up so they get the recognition they deserve!
@funtwo1963 He does even play Metal fast... he just does it with... whats that thing called? OH YEA... Soul.
@milodaman2 Call me stupid if you want a person talking to me over the internet will not change my religion or jeopardize it!
@zzpatrick1 If you say jesus was real because it's written in the bible, I can't help but call you stupid.
@bradstivers Uhh. i dont want to get into a religious discussion over youtube please! lol
One of my favorite SRV songs. It says so much, and is so true!
@akamrdrums I like stevie but putting him on the same level of jesus??? a little much? lol
LOVE YOU SRV SO MISSED ANGEL ♥
Dave didn't want to let go of his hand.
Most Rockin I have ever seen Paul Schaffer's Band. I liked that band better when it was just the 4 of them. SRV...what more can be said. He makes a good band sound incredible!
had this album. thief can burn in hell and never get to meet srv in heaven!
Really a legend!!! who don't think so???
superb....
wow....i wish i was letterman in the last part...
@1966spartan1 maybe its just the youtube clip
Sorry, but what do U mean by 13s ???
nice playin' brother! You even got the true techniques down! Are ya using .13s? :)
The fuck happened to the first solo?
pause at 1:21 lol
@mindaflame7 Fuck ya Baddest guy with a Strat and a hat!!! I'll agree with that!!!
Cool!
The second guitar and the bass are wayyy too loud drowning The Man out. Glad this only happened once. But even with the distraction it is no problem seeing and hearing where the REAL talent is.
The bassists name is Will Lee
this is great! i had NO IDEA he was Letterman!!
@grovzy1 maybe if you provide a source that comment will have some merit
wow. I like it.
Check out the video of the house band with Michael Martin Murphy on Carolina in the Pines. They are having almost as much fun as they seem to be having here. Must be the best gig in show business.
That final lick that begins about 3:44 is one of my favorites of all time. Seeing Arsenio at the beginning is also hilarious.
Hey man give Dave some credit for getting him on his show. He's not worthless- the guy has had some of the best talents ever perform on his show. I give him a lot of credit for that ! If it wasnt for letterman this piece would not exist. But I would have to say whomever mixed the audio and most of the audio techs responsible for this crap guitar levels are close to worthless !!!
Not sure if that is Sid. I think its another guy who looks like Sid McGuiness.
yeah the level on his lead was the worst I've ever heard. Probably just NBC studio cheesing on the mics- they don't know how to do audio or they always took it for total granted. I'd like to kick the audio people and especially the people who cheesed this in the ass with a pair of Texas boots.
(Accidently clicked "Post Comment") Anyways, where was I? Oh yeah, magic wasn't involved. Oh, and I guess you could also say that the creative perfectionist that SRV was, and the unspoken competition between him and his brother Jimmie, contributed to his success.
It wasn't magic that shot SRV to the top. It was hard work, those meat hooks extending from his forearms, and David Bowie. Now, the fact that SRV impressed David Bowie at the 82' Montreax Jazz Festival, (which, in turn, set the course for getting SRV the attention he deserved), was either lucky or the call of destiny. agic was involved
Letterman needs to work on his damned introductions.... "and the album errrrrr.... over here!!" Then again SRV needs no introduction. R.I.P <3
Sid, Paul, Anton, and Will have the dream gig. to get to play with all the artists that they have played with over the last 30 years is just insane. also play at the rock and roll hall of fame every year is not to shabby also.
double trouble is so much better than those support guys, cuz double trouble sounds perfect with stevie.. and these letterman people that replaced 'em here sound too rough.. the bass hurts your ears and the drums are just too weak.
SRV is awesome and David Letterman is a worthless piece of dog shit.
3:27
3:27 forward . . .smokes 'em
wonderfull!!!!!
Beautiful song and beautiful guitarist
A GEM.....KEEP THEM COMING......

Not a single day goes by I don't listen to SRV.
