How long do you think it will take? I am off work on Sundays and Mondays.
3-4 hours. Need to take the tank off and run all the wires, might be quicker since I've already taken mine apart several times. You can call or text me 7034857000. Sunday works best for me.
OK, thank you once I get home. I will send you a picture of everything that I have.
Yes, I have the whole install kit. I purchased the Harley rear speaker lids grills and gaskets. I even ordered a the same battery you got it will be here Wednesday, but I have everything to do the install from Carlos.
@@ericmilton6265 okay. You might need to drill into the bags for the speaker wires. I can help, I live in Mesa not sure if that’s close for you. When did you want to do it.
@@ericmilton6265 what speakers did you get for the rears.
I got the Hertz neo SPL 6 x 9 for the rear Cicada CH for the front. I have the same amp that you have.
@@ericmilton6265 Okay should be easy enough. When did you want to install it?
Super nice paint job by the way I’m doing the same plug and play from NVS Audio,. Is there anyway that you could help me install mine? I could pay you as well as help you with the install let me know.
DO you have rear lid speakers too or just the fairing?
Yes, I have the rear speaker lids. I purchased them from Harley color matched with the grills and my kit from Carlos came today.
Did he send you rear speakers? If so which ones? What front speakers as well. just need to know if there is any modification or spacers needed.
Front speakers Cicada CH 6.5 and the rear speakers are Hertz Neil 6 x 9
Hello, could you help me install that on my 24 road Glide?
My name is eric I bought the same system you have I have a 24 road glide. Could you help me install mine? I will pay you live in Buckeye Arizona.
My name is eric I live in Arizona in Buckeye. I just purchased the same kit you did could you help me install mine? I would pay you. Let me know. Thank you.

Great Job! I just bought the same BD lights to install my CVO 23 RG as well.. they look terrific! Question: Did you have any error codes when installing the lights? Any specials recommendations for the installation would be greatly appreciated!
@@erickwauthion5634 so I have mine run directly to the battery on its own switch. I’m not sure if the integrated fog light provision will work with Baja design lights. I’m hopeful to find an integrated solution though.
@@AZBaggers hey there, thanks for replying. Yes, indeed that’s a nice solution, more practical than what I did. I actually installed them yesterday and I can confirm they work fine with the oem harness on the bike. I bought the Harley oem fog harness and did some cutting and splicing on the cables to match the terminals. Programmed them via de computer on the screen. If you leave the option on they will automatically turn on when ignition is switched. You can always turn them back on and off via the screen….
@@erickwauthion5634 So you were able to get the Baja design lights to work with the factory harness without anything else and control them on the dash?
@@AZBaggers yes!
Nice paint job but I wouldn’t touch that new headlight, there’s nothing out that comes close to looking as good. That ba ha look on the new bikes is horrible

Did you have to use the shims on the ODI or Thrashin bars?
The ODI are 1 1/8 and thrashing is 1" so I already had the Kraus 1'1/8 clamp so I needed the shims
Oh so Thrashin clamp and bars are 1”?
@@robertbozek1008 Correct, Kraus makes 1" versions too
Which bars are you using with the 10” kraus riser, mid bend or low?
I just swapped out the ODI for Thrashing mid bend bars.
That’s what I was planning on using. Kraus 10” risers with the Thrashin mid bend. How do you like the setup now compared to the odi. Also, I was really concerned about blocking the screen but it looks like you have a full view and it doesn’t block it at all. Love the new CVO and agree with the windshield, it’s awful. My 10” Freedom Shield arrives today and can’t wait to try it out.
@@robertbozek1008 SO its very similar, I did have to get the shims to reduce it from 1 1/8 to 1" but same feel and I didnt have to modify them. Thats a huge bonus.
It looks like you took off you heal shifter, I did the same thing, I don't like them. I noticed you slid out your toe shifter to the edge of the shaft and added some type of spacer, which I am very interested in. Is the spacer something you can order from someone? Thank you!!

@@AZBaggers awesome, thank you!!
Thanks for the video. I have the 23 CVO also, awesome bike. you stated that the widow maker seat sets you back and lower, which I am looking for; However, just curious how the widow maker compares to the touring seat for long trips? Also, how does the touring seat compare to the stock CVO seat; as I don't want to sit higher, I feel to high and to forward on the stock seat currently. Have been contemplating the saddlemen roadsofa, but don't want to sit higher. Also, do you like the corbin comfort more then the saddlemen seats? Lots of questions, sorry. thanks again for videos!!
So, the stock seat sucks. I like the widow maker, it is for sure more comfortable even on long rides. I love saddlemen too. I just ordered a step up from them. I had the road sofa on my 19 and it was a great long distance seat. The widow maker is an in between step up and road sofa for comparison sake. I will probably get a road sofa once they figure out the heated function for the new models. Hope that helps. but both will sit you lower and further back from the stock seat.
@@AZBaggers Thanks for information!!
Sorry, another question. You stated you would get the Saddlemen Road Sofa if they figure out the heated function. Do you like the Road Sofa more than Corbin dual touring seat, if so why? since you have had the Corbin Widowmaker, dual touring, and Saddlemen Roadsofa before....if you had to live with just one, what would it be? I don't care about the heated function. Sorry, again for the questions, but the dealerships in my area never have seats to try hardly and they are a big investment. Thanks again and I ordered the toe heal eliminator.....thanks so much for that information.
So great question. It depends on how much riding you do 2up. if you ride with someone a lot I would buy the road sofa. If I were riding solo it would be the step up. I like the Corbin, they are more expensive and comfortable. With that said, Saddlemen would be the seat I would choose depending on your riding, solo or 2up.
Thank you for the information you share with us, it is very useful for me, since I now have a cvo street glide 2023. from Russia with love
Why?
What side covers are those advan black cvo ?
How's that dual corbin after 7 months. How does it position the hips compared to a saddle man?
It’s a little wider but really comfortable. No hip discomfort at all. I have no regrets. The heat option was worth it for sure.
Whats the name of that seat?
Widow maker.
How tall are You? Can You still see the screen? Thanks buddy. Just need infos
I am 6'0 and have full view of the screen. I could go 12 inch risers and still see perfect.
At the time of your video did you have a tuners on your bike
I also like that chopped trunk with the luggage rack
The bike sounds Great
What did you do to it? Is that stock?
That was from my 2019 road glide and everything was done to it as far as engine work
Nice! I should have read the description before posting. I’m looking forward to see what you do to the ‘23 CVO so that I can (shamelessly) copy you
@@TXCVORider love it. I have it getting painted right now by rolling art custom here in az. So it’s gonna be a few weeks. But I’ve got some new stuff on the shelf.
@@AZBaggers nice! I’m waiting for HD to come out with their Stage 2 kit so that I can upgrade. I went with the Corbin seat after your recommendation and couldn’t be happier!
@@TXCVORider hopefully they figure out how to tune these VVT motors. So I’m gonna wait for motor work until that’s solid. But I’m right there with you on wanting stage 2. I know fueling is working on it as well as fuelmoto
Do you get any "Hisses" or "pops" or any noise when radio is either off or when bike is starting? - Heard that by adding the 2nd amp adn DSP so close to stock amp creates "dirty noise" Thanks
I have never noticed what you're describing. It works flawlessly
@@AZBaggers thanks.. something mentioned by guy at Volunteer Audio.
I spoke with cicada in Daytona they said they couldn’t install it on mine because of some thing and the software what did you do?
Yeah most shops don’t have the harness yet. You need to call Carlos at NVS audio. He will get you what you need. Cicada is a manufacturer and hasn’t come out with any products specific to the new bikes yet.
Bad ass
How do you find the Corbin seat that you have? They don't have it with the diamond stitching that You have, unless you go with 2022 Road glide but not sure it will fit?
It’s the widow maker seat. And I called them to order it with the material that I wanted.
What mounts are you using for the fog lights?
I am using custom dynamics light mounts and some iron angled washers to make them straight because of the angle of the crash bar. they were pointed at the front tire because of the angle.
@@AZBaggers 30 degree on the angle washer?
@@bbond919 they were 1x1 inch I beam washers. I used 2. Might be close to 30deg.
How tall are you and what about at night?
6'0 and no impediment riding night or day
Has your muffler shown any signs of bluing? Im thinking of switching to the outlaw setup. Did you dyno yours with the se tune or do the map tune?
No Bluing. There was no sense putting it on the dyno, you cant adjust anything with the SE tuner. That is all that is available currently
@@AZBaggers makes sense. Thanks for the info.
Kraus makes some really nice shit. I just bought their rear axle for my SG.
Love the bike, just took delivery today of my 2023 cvo. I put the stage3 Rockford back speakers in it. Gonna see how it is over the weekend but after hearing yours I’m leaning to go your route! How hard was the install? Great video. Thank you!
the hardest part was removing the tank. Carlos makes it pretty plug and play. You do need to trim the tray a bit. I did it with a Dremel took about 10 min.
Great info, was going to ask about the install too!
Holy cow, I didn't know you could do as much as you've done. Your bike looks great and sounds like it's performing well. I have a 24 CVO RG in legendary orange, so far I've added the chopped tour pak and my Saddlemen seat should be shipping soon. You've definitely given me some idea's for sure. Thanks!
I would think you would have put the Hertz mid bass neo's in the tour pack speaker pods.
I did put the hertz 6.5" neo in the tour pak
@@AZBaggers Looked like the coax neo.
@@marcmo7138 I guess I didn’t understand the differences. They are SX 165 Neo’s. Would the other ones be different
@@AZBaggers The SV165 is a mid bass. Would have been perfect in those ported pods. I would think your system would be quite bright with the cicada horns and Hertz coaxial. Supposed the dsp helps a bit though.
@@marcmo7138 The SX 165 and the SV 165 Neos both produce the same exact amount of midbass in the tour pack. We offer both and have both in stock but I like having a tweeter in the back and yes you’re correct with the DSP we can smooth out the tweeter response . You have to remember it’s the port in the tour pack that create the base not the speaker itself so whether the speaker has a tweeter or not the porch and give you the same low, frequency output
I'm interested in your oem Rockford speakers? Are they for sale? And how much?
I only have the stage 3 6X9's left and I want $300
includes grills or just the speakers?
They dont come with grills. Those are still on my bike. @@bartii8311
And just out of curiosity why would you go down from Rockford Fosgate to Hertz? Quality and support on Rockford is much better also I know Rockford has high electrical resistance because they are 2ohm which means that 2ohm Rockford speakers are louder than 4ohm Hertz ones. Although louder, 2 ohm speakes are also more likely to produce a poorer quality of sound due to its' power consumption. Was that your reason you switched ? I'm just curious. At least I would go with Cicada Audio
@@bartii8311 I don’t know much about the engineering. I’m eventually going to replace the hertz with a more mid bass driver. Other than that no particular reason. I try different options until I get a perfect sound for me.
What Size riser did you run? Also what finagling did you have to do?
they are 10"pullback risers and they were the easiest bars I have ever installed. I did enlarge the hole in the bars to accommodate for the new housing but thats it.
@@AZBaggers thanks your bike looks great. Since there is not much on the newer RG and SG you've been super helpful. Another question I have, are you running a tuner, I don't remember you saying in any of your videos (I would assume it would be a SE Pro Street)?
Yeah, it's the SE tuner. It's the only thing that has come available. It's not ideal but better than stock if your doing stage 1 stuff. @@Kickin_it_671

Did the link work? if not just let me know Ill send you my email address.
You do know that going from amp to amp is hack work, don't you? Every 12v audiophile knows this. You're creating a load on the factory amplifer which can back feed into that oem head screen, thus frying it, not to mention frying the oem Rockford amplifier. I hope you have great business insurance. You'll need it for when this customer experiences what I mentioned. Best of luck.
Man this comment is not gonna age well 😂
So how are people putting subs in their cars with factory amplified radio’s? Ive done multiple Infiniti’s with Bose amps feeding the bass amps and I have NEVER blown out a factory head unit or amp…
😂😂😂. Literally every newer vehicle you go from amp to DSP nowadays😅😅
Every 12v audiophile. 🤦🏽♂️
You do know he tested this for weeks to test everything right and you do know you are wrong as well right? Every audiophile knows this. 😅
Good to go. Thank you for the info and the prompt reply. I appreciate it.
Thank you, sir I’m only a little taller (6’3”)…. Do you think it would keep the air off my helmet and flowing over my head as well?
I know it's a huge difference from the stock windshield. Klock hasn't professed that they are making anything taller. they are making a sport version but its shorter. I would say it would work great. I have zero buffeting, My wife told me she dissent have her head moving and she would be sitting 4-5 inches above me on 2up riding. I would go for it.
Good evening Sir, How tall are you? Thank you, Robert
I am 6'0 tall
Did you get to keep the heated grips and how tall are they
Yes and they are 10 inches
Couldn't we just run the stock speaker level output from the Rockford amo straight to the high level input of the second Amp and not necessarily need a dsp?
I believe the digital signal needs to be converted and the DSP does that. The new system is an a-b processor like all the newer cars and requires a converter. AP-ZEn makes them for ford. Thats my understanding. But I am not an expert.
You would.also want the ability to adjust and correct for the factory Rockford system. A DSP is def a no brainer on all my bike installs. Carlos is a mentor and trained me on bike audio. Do you absolutely need one? Maybe not. But you do😉
Thats a clean install. Thanks for the review... I have been seeing videos from Carlos and plan to start with the front speaker setup for my 24 RG, then wait for someone to come out with a cutting template for the bag lids.
Already working on the templates for the bag lids but it’s gonna be at least eight weeks
