Hi We just purchased a Quadmaster 500 it's a 1998 and wondered if you have ever replaced the carb on one? We aren't sure of the year. The guy we bought it from couldn't recall for sure. New to this so any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

did you unscrew the engine mounts or is it enough to remove only the valve cover?

I can't stop snapping the bolts that hold the skid tray under the dif.

Great video! I just put a new carb on my sons 2001. The 2 rubber hoses attached to the carb. 1 routes just to the frame for excess fuel dump I believe. But the other hose coming off the left side of the carb I have no idea where I took it off from originally. Any idea where it goes? I appreciate it

I”ve got a quad 250, runs great until it gets hot then is hard to crank , progressively as it warms up, will run the battery down , runs great in cool weather but now, in summer heat and humidity it gets hot and runs rough, any ideas of remedy?

Poor video why didn't you show them how to put on your linkages. That's because you had to take the carb back off duh.

Use zip tie to fill gaps when plastic welding and soldering iron to melt that's what I use on my kayak

Where do you find parts? I have been having a hard time finding any available parts for my quad runner

You need to show how to actually change the spark plug and the oil

Just a question about those pads that you took out. Are they the air bladders for the seat??

ALWAYS PUT ON BIG WHEEL AND THEN OVER THE DRIVE PULLEY !!! the drive pulley is open up all ready, the driven wheel will open up letting the belt slide down.

Absolutely the FIRST THING you should od is remove those stator killers and give em to the owner and tell him to NEVER put em back on. Randakk's has an oil filter adapter plate to covert that canister to a spin on oil filter. I have one on my 83 Gold Wing. Makes oil filter changes a breeze.

Take the thermostat off and you don't have to take the valve cover off. The manifold comes out smooth as glass toward the drivers side

Hey I just started the rebuild on a 225 dr. Having some problems finding parts and I stumbled across your videos. By chance do you have any parts left over from yalls build.

I know nothing about ATV's but am looking to purchase a 2003 Arctic Cat 400 4x4 automatic. Once you select high or low gear and start going, do you just shift gears while going fast or do you let off the throttle and slow down first? I have never ridden one, let alone an automatic. Thanks

Good video. I notice you have this on jack stands as opposed to just putting wheels on blocks. Do you need to have the weight off of the wheels to do this job??

Did he say "free 99"? If he was buying it, I wouldn't have given any more than $50 for it, if it was me buying it. I bought an LT1000 not too long ago to for $175, but it's a pretty nice mower and was taken care of. Mine has the 6 spd transmission though, it's not hydro. All mine really needed was a new PTO cable for blade engagement and a new seal for the plastic dipstick filler tube (it was leaking oil where it slides into the seal). I plan on flipping mine for about $450 once the mowing season gets here, which it's just about here now.
