Nux, the Iconic War Boy became the best of Mad Max by giving his life so that others could live and win the battle

It's like watching the tender, caring and loving Max from the home front scenes of Mad Mad 1 suddenly bust out of this broken shell of a man and continue right into tenderly caring for someone important to him again.

Nothing makes me cry more than a redeemed character sacrificing themselves. You want them to live peacefully after their change of heart, but the most poignant proof of change in a story is dying selflessly, it shows that the character is entirely uniterested...

The symbolism of him willingly giving his blood to Furiosa after having it taken from him at the start of the film is incredible.

How is this scene so perfect? Nux's "Witness Me", then the crash at the pass, then the musical score switching to solemn Viking-esque chanting whilst the doof warriors guitar flies towards us. And then, the wheel of the war rig comes right at the screen and it's all timed so perfectly.
