Thank you! It is very useful🙏🏻
Does he still appear there at the lake?
Thank you a lot. It helped significantly. I love your explanation and reasoning. I actually subscribed. Thanks again!
Well, just watched this after already submitting and I did most things correctly. I did talk about making my mark on the world by helping people learn english in another country. Hopefully they don’t mind that lol
Oh wow never knew the thumbs down was that negative
Thank you so much for the helpful tip. Would like to ask if there were opportunities to take some classes or other programs in Japan where we can enhance our specialization?
Thanks for the refreshing talk. I did not think of it that way. Still making my SOP. Hope I'll make the cut.
Great 😊
THANK YOU FOR THIS QUEEN!!!
I'm so glad that I've watched this video prior to submitting my application. Thanks!
whoa! This is is an eye opener. I'm about to write my letter. 😊
Is this also applicable for us,Filupino applicants ?🤭I mean Foreign ALTs might have different perspectives
wow! thank you so much for an insightful video.
Excellent video!! Super informative, concise, and well done. Thank you so much. :)
this is useful for every interview - why you want me and how I can help u 😊
What did you do with your stuff you couldn't bring to japan with you? I have a lot of art supplies, machines and a desktop I don't think I can bring with me.
Parents garage. Or I sold it. Since I stayed in Japan, I’ve slowly brought stuff over in suitcases. I did have any sewing machine shipped to me! Switch to a laptop. lol. Tho I have seen diehard gamers bring their stuff in fancy suitcases. lol. Art supplies…I get at Daiso. There is definitely a lack of art supplies here tho. So depending on your medium of choice you might consider bringing some.
I just realised this video is a year old and we haven't had any updates... A bit worrying... 😨
Thanks for the worry! Meant to start back up at a year post but….life with babies is a lot. I wish I had my own editor! I’m hoping to start up now that I’m on the 18 month old mark.
おめでとうございます!🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
I'm about to go in a few months!! Thank you so much for making this it's incredibly helpful!
Hello dear, depending on the country, even if you are on the Geneva road convention, you must get a permit translation, instead of the international permit. It is my case as a french citizen :) When planning to travel, please check your country ambassady to look at the asked documeng for driving.
What if you didn't go home after the program?
doesnt like plastic... wears polyester shirt which is 100% plastic.... people so goofy there's more plastic in a polyester shirt then in 5 bento boxes becuase of thickness. people so clueless and mislead with environmental stuff
Cheers for sharing cheers!!!!!
Congrats!!
Excellent valuable info. What happens when there are two agents involved, are they allowed to charge the agents fee x 2?
Thanks for watching! No. Only the agent that you sign through will be paid.
Thanks i
Where’s part 2?
Hello I was hoping to attend this event during my stay in Japan this year. Where is the parade/festival normally held? What day of the year? Is there a website anywhere where I can find more information?
I want to know too! Did you find any information?
@@CloudlessWinter its too late. this years kyoto yokai parade already happened (in april).
Thank you so much! ❤ Really helpful video. So many tips for writing a SOP. Before watching I really wondered what I should write about my plans after finishing the program. Now I know 😂
12:30 I wonder if this applies to me. I love in Jamaica where the heat is literally unbearable on the summer. Last year was the hottest I ever experienced so I mostly stayed indoors. I wonder if Japan is hotter? I'll check Google
Altough i am dutch and lived in the tropics (indonesia and philippines) summer in japan can be really insane. It maybe similar to Jamaica, i am not sure ,but Japanese summer was my most uncomfortable experience to date!
blind person visiting japan soon, this helped a lot, i didn’t know about the bird noises! thank you :)
Ma'am, do I need to make my statement of Purpose in two pages?
Yes, JET makes that clear on the application
I really appreciate this video. It's such a clear insight on what to expect and what to avoid. You are an angel. Hope you do an 'interview preparation/demo teaching' do's and don'ts too👉👈
Very helpful information mam.thank u so much ❤
This is so refreshing to watch . In Philippines, they highlight teaching experience as a vital part of applying in JET. I myself only have few months experience of online teaching to be honest haha . I'm also an artist at heart and the qualifications I'm on holding on is my experience in intercultural involvement (3 yrs work exp. in middle east). But still I'll try my luck for 2024. This is one of the best advice and info I have watched so far, thanks for uploading!
Very helpful. Thanks
This was so informative!!! I’m preparing to move in a couple months. Destination Okinawa! Because this video is a bit dated, do you happen to know if the mentioned illegal fees are still illegal? Thanks so much guys!!
This sounds like how their CIA brainwashed them and telling them how to "work". 😂🎉
This is an excellent video, and I really appreciate how it makes the important things plainly clear. I was wondering about the part where you said language skills are a risk factor "for an ALT" because they might want to stay. Would you say wanting to stay is not necessarily a bad thing for a CIR, or is the implication here simply that CIRs need the skills for the job itself and the rest of the advice stays the same? I am applying for CIR this year, and I'm not against adding some bs, but it would definitely be easier if I could just talk about my actual post-JET plans.
Bring you. 💝 Be you. 💖
Taking down notes... Spread the gospel.. After JET When I am... My love for anime is not an asset 🙈 Have an exit strategy.. And.......... It doesn't matter, just hit the point 😉😉😉
🙈🙈 a fun fact, indeed. Geez, 🤣 I'm learning a lot from this vid 💕 Lemme be a minister to spread this gospel as well... 🙈
New viewer here... 👋🏻 I'm the second one you mentioned... the "what the heck should I write?" ferson ... 😅 lol
I have a feeling that Seiyu and Don Quijote would do well in places in the USA with a lot of Japanese expats, like Hawaii, California, Oregon, Washington, and New York.
I just saw your video randomly and I'm glad I saw this. I'm gonna edit my SOP! Thank you for your advice! It gives me a clear idea on what should I put on it.❤❤
Glad to help! You Can contact me on my Instagram too if you have questions!
Do you think it's a good idea for a 40 yr old man to try the JET program?
Wow very helpful. Watched many jet program videos but this the best and very informative. I would like to apply but iam in my mid 40's. Is there an age limit as alt?
I dont have teaching experience . What can u advice me.hope you can reply.thank you
Are you an ALT now?
Thank you so much for this! I am currently preparing for the JET Program application on October and this has helped me a lot. God bless you!
🎉congratulations 🎉
This video is really a great help. Thank you !❤
