First Winter K2 Ascent, Climbed K2 on 16th January 2021.
Mingma G is IFMGA/UIAGM certified Mountain Guide. He started his mountaineering career in 2006 with his first attempt on Mt. Manaslu. Till the date, he successfully topped Mt Everest, K2,Kanchenjunga , Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Nanga Parbat, Annapurna, Gasherbrum I, Broad Peak and Gasherbrum-II . He only remained Sishapangma to climb to complete 14 Peaks. Mingma is the first and only the Solo climber from Nepal. He soloed on Mt Chobuje (6685m) via west face in 2015. This is one of the most difficult mountain to climb via west face.
He was honored with “Honorary Goodwill Ambassador” for “Nepal Tourism Year 2011”, Tenzing Hillary Award 2021, National Award by Honorary President Vidya Devi Bhandari in 2021. He was also honored by Bangla Mountaineering and Trekking Club, Bangladesh and Iran Alpine Club.. Numerous certificates of his Successful Ascents and medals also honored his success.

This is the place where we lost 3 sherpa brothers on 12th April. What a breathtaking view!!! There is at least 27% of deaths in the alpinists who climbs the Annapurna... statistically that means there is at least one person amongst those we see in that video who died during the descent.. crazy to think about.
