Good video tutorial. But i have no heartbeat in my apm 2.6 in my conector i2c have 3.3v... I shold have other trouble in my apm. Or this voltage is not real in my apm... Or bootloader is corrupted when i try to downgrade my firmware on mission planner. Do you have some idea about this my friend. And sorry my poor english. Im from Brazil.

Measure on the i2c connector, the inside pin measured is it 5v or 3.3v. Mine measured is 5v.

All mine have been great but u have noticed a difference between them if in order through eBay or Amazon different sellers all the same specs but different coolor printing like faded colors and some have that fake carbon fiber look and some have a shimmery red look. Still been flying then since I started the hobby they have been affordable and the only ones I killed were from major crashes even then I still use then for fpv monitors...

Ahh man, that sucks. Have you got a device (Don't know the name sorry) to check the balance and state of the cells before charging and whatnot? I have a pair of flourons and they have been great. I think that because they are cheap that some retailers may treat them with some disregard and leave them stored too long perhaps or some rough handling damaging cells. Just my thoughts on them. It sucks when something stops you going out to enjoy yourself.

I have 16 of these Floureon batteries, equal amounts of 2s and 3s. So far all 2s batteries have been great, no issues. However, l've had to destroy two 3s batteries due to swelling and dead cells. One of them actually arrived with a near-on dead cell but I managed to save it. Even though the majority of these batteries l've had no issues with, won't be buying these again. Having said that, l don't believe there is a manufacturer out the whom has not had a battery swell or fail at some point. I've had one of those Turnigy Graphene lipo packs fail.....a lot of people rave about how good SMC lipos are but have seen videos of them fail too. Nothing is ever perfect or 100% fail-proof, it's just how it is.....unfortunately. Fortunately, it didn't explode and burn the house down.

Did you install leds? My case was almost the same, and I found out that it was the leds that were wrongly connected. Anyway just disconnect everything form the APM and connect it (the apm) to the pc. Then, if it doesn't beep, connect different things (esc, gps, receiver, leds...) one by one so you can guess which part is wrong when it starts beeping again. Hope to be helpful, in my case it worked!

lol I've had about 4 of these batteries and I've been loving them... i just purchased another 1 ... soo yah most likely you don't know how to charge em or something cuz what kind of an idiot leaves a Battery puffed soooo badly still plugged into the charger....

There are few things that u need to check : - Have you activated the pre arm checks or bypassing it ? - Which firm ware did you upload in the flight controller ? Do not use Beta version unless you know how to program it else use a STABLE version - Have you calibrated the system ? - Arm the drone in stability mode

Is this valid for apm 2.8? I have a 5v bridge from A0 pin top header to first pin on i2c (3.3v one in your video.

Hi, I've measured the voltage on the I2C connector and is 5V so I don't know if replacing the connector will work. What should I do?

Jerry, I tried to fix the two of my 2.7 and they didn't work, the new regulator gave 3.27 volts but I think that's not a new issue. Perhaps I had fried them for permanent. Not only the regulator but something else. Sad.

I have this same problem. I've ever installed a new 3.3v Regulator , but the same problem remains. " No heartbeat packet receives" .>> Whats can i do now ??

is the regulator 800ma or 100ma ? Lastly how many flights did you flew again?

@nyinfamous2k2 Thanks. I was thinking about raking her out a bit but I don't wanna screw up the handling. Low and Mean says it wont be any different at speeds over 25 mph but I have my doubts. I'm planning to make a custom chin/radiator scoop/fairing and a custom breather. I used to build hovercraft's, sculpting eps foam to shape, glassing it, building airdrives, carving propellers etc. Fabricating is in my blood. Also making some custom highway pegs/mounts and having chromed at a local shop.
