So he was judging pagans in sermon on the mount? I thought he preached not to judge? Serious question
No, he was distinguishing between right and wrong, what to do and what not. Hence, "When you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans for they think that they will be heard because of their many words". The insult to the Lord is repeating the word like a parrot but not obeying and living by the word. Pagans say the words and yet live in ungodly ways, and yet they call themselves righteous.
There are two kinds of people in this world! Those who have accepted Jesus as their Savior and as our Redeemer…therefore on their way to Heaven! And those who have not… and on their way to hell! By accepting Jesus, our sins are thrown into the depths pf the sea… Christians will still struggle with sinful deeds after being tempted by the enemy ( satan). As a Christian, we are the primary target! Because we are, through Jesus, the only way to spread the Gospel message to unsaved…. satan wants to prevent at all costs.. Using temptations to distract us… using sinful actions to discourage us ( which makes us distracted and depressed enough so that we find it near impossible to witness to others). But Jesus already paid for us. EVERY SIN KILLS THE SOUL AS UNBELIEVERS! Until you reach for Jesus, sin already has killed your soul! But resurrection through Jesus is our only chance and hope to be saved

The good news is that Jesus is Lord God Almighty clothed in unsinful humanity and He is the author of (eternal life) to all who trust Him *alone* for salvation 💓.
