Im going to be doing tgis in a few months. Gotta find the land first😅
Great job!!
Looking Great!!
Hey Niall. Your work is awesome. I’m new to earth ships but the more I look into them the more convinced I am. I’m wondering if we could find a time to talk directly? Thanks
@@TheRomalov find me on Facebook and send me a message.
Thanks for sharing!
Time to move on in! Fantastic Job!
You have done so very well with your build! Inspiring!
Thank You for sharing Your work with us , it is always nice to be Your guest , i Wish You a Merry Christmas from the north of germany
Awesome Build!! Your roof installation video kicks butt and helped me to better plan our roof! Thank you!!
Outstanding! I remember first following you when the whole debacle of the world began... thank you for all the inspiration!!
Nv?
sick
Whats the airlock room for?
@@justbailey90 the airlock on the west side will be a mud room. The airlock on the east is the bathroom.
Were Actually going to do this with the Creek that Flows behind our home because the Level of water in our Spring that We Currently Only Pump water from Drops Considerably during Dry Spells...This Burns Up Our Shallow Jet Well Pumps Frequently, So I Am going to run the Creek water into the pump basin with the aid of maybe a check valve....We are on a Reverse osmosis & UV System for our Drinking & Cooking water that's Located under the Kitchen sink so water is filtered anyway.....Just Tired of Replacing these Pumps.
Wow, besides that the tire wall is not any more work than a concrete one, it is infinitely more earth friendly than concrete and keeps all those tires out of the landfills. Thank you for posting the very informative video!
How long will your heater run on 1 tank of fuel?
How are you feeling about the quality of the spray foam vs other methods? Was thinking of maybe doing something similar to what you have done.
Eeh err der....it a cold out...heater is a workin....it a kerpin us warm. How about some temps outside vs inside with heater on.
Great simple setup, We do the same thing except I'm using a gas powered pump that moves more volume of water at a greater distance. The water has to travel up a gradual hill for about 135 feet before it reaches our supply tanks. To make life easier I buried a 1 inch supply line from the pump to the storage tanks and added the correct pvc fitting so I can attach a garden hose to each end. I found if you wrap women's pantyhose the hose that sits in the water, it filters out and rocks or debris....
Nice! What mix of materials are you using?
Great stuff. Do you fill in the sloped sides with bottles too?
Nice tip with the exterior screw for the half tires, going to try it this week.
Looking pretty sweet. Have been learning from your videos and have put a trick or two learned (from you) in my build. Small detail - I learned in researching/talking with the Doulton company about the "Big Blue" water filter, it is meant to be a "whole house" early in the chain pre-filter, hence the 5 or so candles inside (equaling higher output). It is only .5 or so microns. For drinking water you want closer to .2 microns. It is a mistake made by Earthship Biotecture and repeated again and again. You want something stronger for the drinking water to get everything out. Anyhow Love your videos man, the roof stuff is pretty cool, you know how to build well for sure!
Love the detailed look at the plumbing! Will you do another video like this for the planter cell?
@@prerunnerwannabe I will once I get the greywater plumbing installed.
@prerunnerwannabe check out my other video on the water system in the big sky earthship we built.
@@nialldivers Will do, thanks for telling me about it!
Nice, it is coming along. good job
A question. You have your pump directly connected to the system via a hard connection. Won't this send the vibration of the pump throughout the home? Maybe making connections using some flex hoseing to keep the vibrations from carrying up the pipe. Just a thought and just my 2 cents. Worth every penny. LOL
Looking good.
Somehow I stumbled across your channel... Is this the build I've been watching when I drive by just on the north edge of I-90?
Looks great. I'm enjoying watching your progress. Are you going to have a small planter cell for gray water?? Keep up the good work. Ski season is coming up quickly. 👍🙂
The earth ships are very interesting and not needing to drill a well in difficult environments is a great solution. I am thinking that bird droppings can get on your roof, does your ceramic filter kill bacteria? I didn’t see a chemical feed pump or UV light. Thanks
All the conveniences of home will make it a great place to live.
Proper build. Nice to see it come together. When are going to heat it with a bitcoin miner?!
Hey brother, I absolutely love the video! Do you have a business email ?
Looking good!
I recommend looking into a ram pump it pumps a lower amount that continuously just powered from the water
It does not look like he has enough current.
@@frankmaggard7123 actually a small one potentially could bearing in mind he is pumping through that hose sucking it quite fast however it wouldn’t be the most flow but it probably would be quite a bit over a period of time
nice! looks like it is coming together!
This is for the algorithm
Paint looks good! And the interior framing! Airlock is clutch!
Well Doneeeee👍👍👍👍👍
Nice dude! Looking dope
awesome! but what happens if that pump sucks air
I saw your build off the freeway last summer, im stoked that you upload all your progress here. I just broke ground on my own earthship in northern montana this year. These videos will be a great help!
Ram pump. Not machines or electronics needed.
Don't let that big white flowered heracleum plant @0:30 touch your skin, you may get chemical burns if there's sunlight afterwards.
Awesome job I work with metal all the time. Great work. I would love to build an earthship. But where I am in Alberta they would never allow it.
Thank You for keeping us updated , i Wish You a Nice rest of the day💙💛♥
How much is this pump? And can i get it am from Nigeria African
