DONE WITH YOUTUBE - ENTER PHASE III with original music
Hi Everyone,
I need a break from youtube. I have tons going on in my life right now and youtube is an extra thing that i won't have time for in the next few months.
Thats not to say that i wont be back. After i take a few months off i will start phase three of my youtube channel, where i use my original music, and play my guitar a lot more.
I hope you will stick around and subscribe to my channel. When i come back i will be doing a beginner carving series that i know you will enjoy.
Love,
Ira
All music in this video are original improvisations or compositions by me.

    You buy a tool and it last for 30 years and still going through heavy use is all the advertising a tool needs. I work industrial maintenance and I’ve got tools coming up on that mark. Something last that long and you know you made a good buy.

    man with all respect but that rivets means nothing to a forged blade, you never see how much you can beat an axe head in a metal that is not forged??? the biggest issue it is that can pass throu leather but i never saw an axe from Gransfors that had that problem..they are very decent..

    I may be wrong but on the Gransfors website they write that a lefthand axe has e right bevel, so your axe is for a right handed carver right? The grinder side is against the wood to prevent digging to deep in the wood. I have the same axe as right handed carver and have a left grinded bevel like you have with chisels. Greetings from Belgium 🇧🇪

    My question to you is what type of drill bit do you think works the best? I just found your site and am impressed with your various skills. My Dremel Work Station arrived yesterday and I will be setting aside all of my hole punching tools. I am an older gentleman who is visually impaired and I think that this new setup is going to make my leather work much more enjoyable . A new subscriber by the way. Peace.

    Why do people keep on calling it a AXE!!! ITS A HATCHET. A axe you swing with two hands, hatchet one hand.

  • @TheAkashicTraveller
    @TheAkashicTraveller 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Looks like a dremel and "workstation", a small desktop drill press that fits a dremel essentially, would work well for all of these uses and would be cheaper and take up much less space than a full size drill press. I'd probably go with that or a similar alternative. About the same price and a cheaper bench drill press but more versitile with the downside of not being suitable for tougher materials.

    • @maverick47
      @maverick47 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      My 'work station' arrived yesterday and I am excited! I am visually impaired, and old and I think this will be the ticket and will eliminate hours of trying to punch out holes. I just found Ira's site and I think I will ask him what type of drill bit would work the best. All the best to you and yours as this holiday season gets underway. Peace.

    Looks like a very rugged bench, but the weak point is the skinny tenons on the legs; they are the obvious point of failure. You could well have made them half-again or twice as thick. Still, I guess you won't have many elephants sitting on it.
