Crank seals are still good ?
In my projects ,it appears the Suzuki and Lawn Boy Engines had a much more reliable ignition ..
If I'm right, the engine you got is the Briggs&Stratton- the Suzuki /Toros were a one piece cylinder/ cylinder head ...😊
Hey bro,I have 3 of those Toro 2strokes- 1 is a Brigg's,the others are a Suzuki/Toro,third is a Yecumseh .Whhat carb and jetting did you use?🤔
I also have exhausts and carbs for Yamaha kt100's ...what ya think ?
Badass!
Nice Bike! i liked!
You did a good job on the mini bike!
thanks mate you did a great job explaining everything
I just cut and streched one of these and put a 110 on it
You still have original engine? Can i buy it?
Please tell me you will replaxe those bearings in the bottom end. They were noisy as all hell and obviously bad. Its a simple matter of tine till they start coming apart and destroy more parts in the motor. If you didnt hear those bearings rattling in their races you are deaf.
Please put an email in the about section of your youtube channel for business opportunities
This is awesome, I’ve never even heard of this brand. It looks similar to the Cannondale bikes.. nice find
Did you buy that bike in michigan?
I look forward to following this. The engine is based on an old husaberg design if that helps.
Paint and wiring looks great changes it to almost brand new looking.👍
Pretty cool bike, I didn't know Vor. Thanks for the videos.
Tengo una duda cuando la moto lleva días sin uso la mirilla de aceite igual debe quedar llena ??
Do not hone electrofusion cylinders. You can easily destroy them. Unless someone put a liner in it.
The bike deserves to be restored
Did you buy the plastics in a kit or individually? I also can’t find the seat
Howdy!! Got the same bike and I would love to restore that’s why I’m watching this video, is there any advice you got for an amateur bike mechanic like me to make this project possible? The starter kick is not working
not a restoration- and never leave a crank bearing on the crank shaft for a install-the right way to fix the broken stud is on a angle plate using a bridgeport to drill and tap on the correct stud location.
Not even close to a restoration. It's not even a competent rebuild. Why would you put all those heavily used and worn parts back in and together when you have the entire thing completely torn down? IE new bearings new piston, rings, clutch etc etc. These types of guys give people a bad name. It's going to blow up again shorty after he flips it I would bet money on. If you aren't going to do things right just don't do them at all. Having to fix and rework some hack's shoddy work that doesn't know what they are doing is twice as much work as them just leaving it alone. Also by this part in time and history there are no such thing as "parts bikes" anymore. He also wrecked and cut up a perfectly good bike someone else could have easily restored the right way.

its cool but the throttle is rattling so bad get a new one of there
This was my first 2 stoke I road ..many years ago
Do have any room for any other projects? Got a 79 yz80 I’d like to get restored.
I had a 1975 and it was badass. Bought new, Red and silver letters. Sparkle paint on tank. I loved that bike. ❤️🔥 TS100
I have this same bike, its missing a carb, and seat. I'm getting a rebuild kit if you have a carb or seat let me know thanks
This was my first dirt bike in 1979. I was 12 years old. I rode that thing into the ground.
Same here, same age. I road it as much as I could on the farm field behind my house.
Awesome Job!
Fuel tank needs a respray and some decals.
How much
Do you sell de seat ?
Thanks man! Just bought a 2019
Im using the same engine for a build , and having trouble finding a clutch that fits. 3/16 key and 1 inch bore. Anything i order off Amazon even in the description it says 3/16 but theyre all 1/4 inch keyd. What clutch or modifications did you do?
Had the same year and model when I was a kid. Great memories. Nice job!
WOW NICE
1st bike. I was 15. It was 1987. Life got strange since then.
😂 I was 15 with the red one😂
why did you hone a chrome lined cylinder? I raced one of these in the Astrodome back in the day.
Man u do some really nice looking work. Been working on sleds since idk 13 maybe. Im 45 now so i know the work and motivation it takes. Raced sleds for 15 years SX and pro XC racing. Many wins and championships takes a lot of work motivation and dedication. Very impressive love seeing a younger generation working on snowmobiles cleaning carbs. Idk if u raved before or how many times but u looked good out there. If u want the hole shot gotta clutch and jet for it. That and never take ur eyes off the tip of the flag. Soon as u see movement hit the throttle. Keep it up and u will go places. Nice work great video
Thank you! This was my first actual snowmobile race, i have a lot to learn thats for sure. I unfortunately had bad back-row starting positions all day. Cant wait to sleds more, as this was a ton of fun!
@@CineMotoYT very impressive bud.
First😊
I found a snow blower in the trash yesterday with a 2 stroke, electric start even! Pretty cool. Runs too, just really beat up. I'll be scrappy it out and taking the engine.
That's a bummer about the 1 inch shaft......I hope my 4.5hp 2 stroke has a 3/4 in shaft. I wanted to make a diy motoped / dual sport moped 🛵. I'm hoping if mine is 1in that I can find a 1in clutch. Or some type of bolt on bslanced reducer coupler kit. Or go jackshaft, cvt etc...A high compression head E85 build would give it some kick.
@@michaelbrinks8089 golf cart or snowmobile
@@Bigbull6069 2 stroke 5hp engine out of a snowblower...But sadly it's pretty wide.
@@michaelbrinks8089 I did shorten the shaft for that reason.I bored the center out a bit on the Chinese scooter Variator, put thin bushing in & run the CVT on em. The rpm engagement speed is close too, which actually works surprisingly well. Pulls to bout 40-43mph.Got tickets lol
Needa top speed
Should sight glass be full after oil change? Completely fukl
Sounded like could be low compression when it first started. Those are two great sleds!🛷🛷
What carburetor did you use?
