John 3:16 is well-known, but two verses later, in John 3:18, Jesus speaks about judgment and the consequences of rejecting the Gospel. The Gospel addresses God's love, but it also highlights His judgment and righteousness.
I explain how Jesus reveals the futility of the flesh in His conversation with Nicodemus and how the Holy Spirit is sovereign in regenerating believers. The Spirit is free to indwell whoever He chooses, emphasizing His role in salvation and eternal life. This study also explores the necessity of God's wrath against sin and His righteousness.
