Working On The Ramp In A Nutshell (the short version)
มุมมอง 3.4K9 หลายเดือนก่อน
Hey everyone! Here’s some highlights from yesterday. Decided some cringe music was necessary to really make this video that much better haha! If anyone has suggestions for future videos feel free to leave a comment and if it’s a great idea I’ll make a video for you. That especially goes for those of you who are interested in a career on the ramp!
Leaking Aircraft Causes Delay
มุมมอง 4.3K9 หลายเดือนก่อน
An old Boeing 737-800 had a pretty bad leak in the ceiling of the forward cargo bin. It appeared to have been an issue for possibly weeks given the mold and damage. The aircraft was delayed for two hours due to maintenance.
Morning De-Icing Operations
มุมมอง 3K9 หลายเดือนก่อน
Here’s a quick video for anyone who’s never seen the de-icing process before! The temperature was 36°F and the pilots decided to take precautions and request de-ice. We did our inspection prior to pushback and found only condensation. Worth noting it was the only plane that requested de-ice at the airport during the entire day…

How long did it take to learn your job? Are you provided head sets??
It takes just a few weeks to get everything down. They provide most of the gear.

It's been 8 months since your last upload. Man, we need you! Please come back ; - ;
I’d love to but I’m waiting on the current manager to get fired so I can get back in. Long story short after I was fired a ton of people quit and he’s letting the station fail. Only a matter of time before he’s gone and I can come back to start uploads again. I work for another airline currently but the work isn’t worthy of TH-cam. Maybe in the next few weeks I’ll post something though.
Nice to see what we normally don´t see.
Looks like gta
What editing software do you use to make the captions?
I’ve been testing with a few different ones. This one was from Opus I believe.
@@AircraftPitCrew thanks! you earned a sub!
I just got a job ass a ramp agent at my airport it look fun thank for sharing hop u enjoy it
Once a ramper, always a ramper. You’ll never find a more rewarding job. Just a quick piece of advice. Don’t let the clock control you. Just be safe and if a plane goes out delayed and you did everything right then it wasn’t your fault. I’ve seen people get hurt trying to rush because they’re at D15 with 100 bags to go.
Agent ramp for aircraft's in airbus
Mas is so cool 4:43 😊😊

If he uwu
Didn't expect to hear you talking about Unreal and the gaming industry 😄
Gotta have hobbies outside of work haha
Você não sabe quem que eu falei eu falei com o Google
😮👍🏻
How were you able to record this... i tried to get permission when i worked on the ramp in dtw snd they told me flat out no... regardless of how many subs i have... thye said they want to protect the brand.. i loved workijg with delta tho
It completely depends on which company you work for. Unifi had no issues with me filming, however I was fired as a result of people breaking rules since I was in leadership. Delta had a rep fly out to meet me and said I should keep uploading but I never got the chance to haha That said if you asked after my videos were published it might have something to do with my videos being uploaded. Unifi treated me awful for the videos and as a result lost 26 employees at our station.
@AircraftPitCrew oh wow not a good situation..
what airport is this
DELTA
Is it in NYC OR NJ
Good 👍 😮😮😊😊😊❤
Love watching the guy with those orange sticks, and the accuracy of the pilots, given i know nothing. Thanks for sharing. Greetings from New Zealand.
Sucha a Excellence job.
Do you like to work in a air plane❤ ???👇🏻
It’s an awesome job with flight benefits. Not much to complain about :)
I like watching this and seeing how things are done it’s really interesting. Also what’s really interesting is the other side of the conversation that the guy is having with other people.
be careful out there thank you for what you do
Damn I would love to have that job :,)
You can make it happen! This is the time of year where people quit for the season. You should go check out local listings. Just expect the hiring process to take a week or two.
❤
Cool
OMG I LIKE HESE VIIDEOS SHOWING AIRPLANES AND TY FOR YOUR WORK❤❤❤❤
In a big airport is there a someone who gives them suggestions where to go or how do they know what to do with each plane?
It really depends. For us there’s an operations supervisor then a ramp lead (ALA). The operations supervisor plans the flight (where the bags go) and I (the lead) run my gates. Each lead has their own crew for the day to run their flights. In a bigger airport the operation is very similar.
Worked ramp at LGA
31:07 lol
thanks for taking care of the baby
the funny thing is, take everything else out: its a boeing, staring at a airbus. its already a competiton
هو في المنام على هذا الموضوع في ❤
how do you just stick your head in the engine and trust someone to not make the engine filled of intestines?
The engines take a few seconds to spool up, so if someone did happen to start them I’d have plenty of time to get away.
@@AircraftPitCrew ah reasonable, bro got all my fears of being a groundcrew away in 1 sentence
I love the guys on the ramp lol! There humor is perfection
