Thank you! 😁 I do live in Tromsø and work at the airport. We get a lot of Germans here travelling with eurowings, Lufthansa, edelweiss and via other connecting flights. I'd recommend making a short trip here if you can, best in a not so busy season too. Greetings from northern Norway!

That, I cannot answer for sure. But in this video there was a flare, only that it was barely visible. I'd assume that the handling characteristics of this aircraft is wildly different from the average jet airliner. I was just invited on a day trip, and am not a pilot as of yet.

The third person adjusting the camera is me on the jumpseat! I got permission from the captain & I made sure to not interfere with the operations in compliance with the sterile cockpit rules as briefed beforehand. There are situations where filming is considered reckless and threatening safety, but this is not one of them.

Thanks! The runway numbers indicate the compass bearing rounded to the nearest 10 degrees. So rwy36 will be a heading between 355 to 004 degrees.

That will be extremely difficult to do, and I'm sure the passengers won't be happy for that. The reactions are just like any other flight too, so it'll be boring to watch if I even am allowed to record their reactions. 😅 Thanks for watching! 😄

Aww thank you. I am actually a novice sound engineer, so I am learning to make sound packages for FSX, P3D and MSFS 2020/2024.

Ooh, sounds pretty exciting! Are you currently working on getting the audio for the dash 8?

@ Precisely! At this point, it will be for the classic Dash 8 Series especially the -100 variant. Besides the Dash 8, I am also creating several RR Spey sound packages for the Fokker F28 and the Gulfstream G-IIB/-III, both for FSX/P3D and hopefully MSFS 2020/2024 when I learn the wwise programs later on.

Nice! Feel free to harvest any sounds from this channel, it is after all a hobby of mine. It is very dash 8 heavy due to the abundance of dash 8s I am around at work.

I have some videos from inside the cockpit on this channel, but not more than that. I'm rarely flying myself!
