The Volcanoes of Iceland
Located on a boundary between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates, Iceland is prone to volcanic activity. In November 2023, a trip to the geothermal Blue Lagoon ended with closure of the facility due to increased frequency of earthquakes. Five volcanic eruptions occurred in the area over the next six months. This is a look at the five eruptions plus a review of the most famous volcanoes in Iceland, all set to the folk music of Iceland.@FischerFilms

Your video is now used for school good job on making something cool for our school 🤙
Thanks for the great videos!
i remember taking a trolley to tahiti before my friend died to some agency, anywho im a mango farmer now
I am over the moon because i found this beautiful piece of art! I live on the border of the park and consider it heaven.❤
lg the frozen re heated capitol of the world glad i moved
Instead of this insipid music, why not use a narrator? The audio on this video is so badly tweaked, I just can't watch it.
Just finished traveling to some of these towns. What an incredibly beautiful land to see! Highlight was watching a few humpbacks feed a few yards from us off a secluded point jutting out into the water.
Do these islands have a tide?
Nice video but, just for once, I would like to see something about everyday life instead of yet another 'travel video'.
You missed Beckley’s Boat House a beautiful log cabin structure much older than some of these wealthy houses simple docks. Don’t get me wrong this is a great video just disappointing that got missed.
that's a bit of a bummer when the first 11 seconds contain misinformation. antarctica has existed on maps for centuries. the first sighting was not 1820. leaves a bad flavor behind knowing that there's an imperialist bias imprinted on this feature.
The first confirmed sighting of Antarctica is now widely acknowledged to have taken place on the 28th (maybe the 27th) of January 1820 during the voyage of two Russian ships, the Vostok and Mirnyi under the command of Captain Fabien (Thaddeus) Gottleib von Bellingshausen during a two year exploratory expedition around the world to discover new lands for the Russian Empire. Bellingshausen's ships were the first to have crossed the Antarctic Circle since Cook nearly 50 years earlier, they did so on the 26th of January 1820. Reference - "The Discovery of Antarctica"
@@FischerFilms just because it's widely acknowledged, doesn't mean it's true. it's been widely acknowledged that israel should sign an immediate cease fire regardless of the status of the hostages to stop the bloodshed in gaza and we know how that's going. antartctica shows up on maps dating back centuries regardless of what's widely acknowledged or accepted.
are there any islands on lake George ?
Yes, there is a whole video on this channel going over all of the Islands in Lake George. Also you can see plenty of islands in this video too.
Man, I'm metropolitan French and always wished to go to Tahiti, it has an incredible reputation over here. But the journey through plane would be a nightmare. I've been to Martinique (also very nice), which is way closer with "only" eight hours and it was already excrutiating. (I've got no patience). So, thanks for the trip. And given how bad metropolitan France is, I'm glad they have full autonomy status. Stay unique.
These is nothing but beautiful island music. Long ago the Polynesians were able to understand each other before the English language! Much love to all my islands peeps ❤❤
amazing!!!
Great vid. You did justice to the people from a foreigner perspective. 👍🏼
I WAS LIKE…. OHHHH NOOOO…. NOT TAHITI…. 😩 IT’S SOOOOOOO COMMERCIALIZED, AND AMERICAN…… 😩😩
Amazing..I haven't see before a perfect documentary like it., photography... discription... Editing... Thanks a lot....
Great video but you can speed up the frames a bit.
Thank you for the straightforward and honest nature of these videos. Very well done!
Ok
Super job! So informative and down right beautifully filmed!
Beautifully done!!!
Incredible photography, editing, music, text messages featuring Alaska. Well done and please continue creating such masterpieces.
What a beautiful and informative video! Thank you so much for sharing this! I can’t wait to visit.
That cracked me up the Rogers rock Trail requires “rock scrambling” OH YEAH you definitely have to shimmy your way up the cliff at that one section unfortunately the sketchy part is going back down . But you can’t beat the views but I definitely would not hit that section after a rain or any dampness .
💕💕😍😍💗💗
Beautiful! Thank you
So glad to see this video posted! Perhaps you'll remember Rob how I met you and Pam on the group tour from Florence to Siena. I actually spotted myself in this video in the images of the Loggia della Mercanzia and the Piazza del Campo 🙂. I've enjoyed watching some of your other videos in this channel since then. Hope you both are well and thanks for sharing these wonderful experiences in such an informative way. -Salman
Amazing, you saw yourself in the pictures! It was a great trip. Thanks so much for writing. - R
Another film of SBYmca history that preserves a key story of the waterfront. Being out on the lake is essential for every visitor. 🚣
This is where you will always find me when I’m at the bay. Lost in a book….rain or shine. Rocking away the day one page at a time.

this will only attract more dumb tourist. money hungry exploiters
You’re video blew me away. It is definitely the BEST that I’ve seen on TH-cam. Great photography, stunning music. We’re heading to Polynesia in September. Now we’re even more excited, thanks to you. My sincere thanks.
What a great story. My dad was born in Albany in 1908, and worked for GE as a young apprentice. He first saw Lake George as a teenager and fell in love. After college he returned to GE, working first in Erie, PA, and then back to Schenectady in the late 40's. He bought his first camp on Lake George at Assembly Point, and later a place just south of Bolton Landing. We had great times there as a family... now I know the unsung hero who helped make Lake George the paradise it is today.
Bransfield was an Irishman ☘️🇮🇪
By far, the best travel film I ever watched!! So beautiful, informative, classy, and succinctly condensed! Better than my own memory of our last frontier! 2 thumbs up. Also, for that comical quote in the beginning so as to lessen my guilt as a wasting world's resources escapee! 😇
The font uses old Irish lettering, the lovely D’s , A’s it does not show our lovely old R’s T’s, F’s . G’s . Sadly we do not use that script any more, it is beautiful to see it written in entirety☘️🇮🇪🇮🇪
Did any one note the beautiful lettering, it is Ancient Irish

3:32 Had some memories in that Boathouse.
Was lucky to spend 21 summers at Woodhome. (4:01). The boathouse shown is not the original; it was rebuilt in about 2003. The original owner was the first VP of the Lake George Club. Georgia O'Keefe visited the house; at one point one of her paintings hung above the fireplace. In the attic my son found the oldest burgee (flag) of the Lake George Club, circa 1917 or so; the burgee now hangs above the fireplace at the club.
Outstanding video, the best I've ever seen on TH-cam....
Kept waiting for Canadian content but i think some Yank made this because it sucks!
I grew up going to Lake George camping on the islands and boating. Its sad to me that it has become so expensive that only those with the money to go can enjoy it.
Thanks for this miss the ADK park 😢 ❤️
Incredible footage! Thanks 👍hoping to go
Really like this video. Very helpful for getting to know local hikes. Wonderful music👍
Fantastic production and Music!
