The reading is very poor. Harper sounds like Sharpe at times. It’s difficult to follow

Oh William sweet William Gaminara how we miss your narrative excellence. 😢

👏👏👏 The first Sharpe’s book I ever listened too was Sharpe’s Fury. My dad bought it for me when I was in middle school. I was consumed by the gripping description of combat and the mastery with which Bernard Cornwall wove his narrative around historical events. I owe my interest in the peninsular campaign and the Napoleonic wars to Mr. Cornwall, due to his ability to blend fact with fiction. I have immensely enjoyed all 21 of these books and I just wish that there was more to listen to.

I love these characters.

It’s free so how can I complain? Sound quality and narrator not my fave.
