What are your thoughts on how they will hit SE?

Well right now OCG has 3 Reasoning AND 3 Monster Gate and the deck that plays both barely tops. Heavy Storm also just got unbanned as well over there. It's a great card to wipe S/T or even get your effects off, but half the time wiping the opponents stuff triggers their stuff anymore. Honestly, most the older cards on the F&L List do not deserve to be there, and I'd even include Pot of Greed in that list to unban (We already have a video ready on that topic so be ready). Konami has a tendency to wait YEARS past a cards power ceiling is exceeded to even bring it to Limited. And for cards they erratad years ago, literally useless cards now. They errated brain control, and now are about to semi limit change of heart x'D Classic Konami

​@VengefulShad0wz I had made a really cool Invoked Dragoon Turbo deck that was destroyed when Anaconda was banned. It was the first deck I made 100% on my own and it did surprisingly well, I want it back. Unrelated but what's the name of the background song you used? It's amazing

@@RenegadeGamer89 Song is: "Covenent" by White Bat Audio I use their music for EVERYTHING. I loved anaconda, played it in an OTK going second Kaiju deck that lowkey was one of the most consistent decks I have ever played. And Dragoon isn't even played anymore. Fusion tech plays too many garnets.

Yugiohhhhh!!!!!! Yea I lowkey have done that a fewwww times! I was honestly very blessed, I played from a ton during 5Ds. It was actually one of my favorite looking ultimates out so I kept for that reason alone. I wish they did ultis like this nowadays for real.

One of the biggest reasons Heavy was banned was how it interacts with YOUR OWN backrow. Glad to hear the toxicity is increasing LOLOL Powersink stone AND Skill Drain sounds like you get from salt from your opponents!!!

@@VengefulShad0wz haha yeah. The main reason I run 6 effect floodgates is so I can guarantee that I see it in every opening hand going first. If I win a game and go to game 2 and believe the opponent will go first, ill side out all the floodgates

@@MZX4206969 Easy choice to side out makes the whole process easier as well to get proper side deck space. I really like that! How have the Powersink Stones tested for you? I think the card is extremely strong when utilized correctly and expect to see it start popping up in tournaments!

@VengefulShad0wz with phantom of yubel, just negate the first monster effect use and done. No more monster effects for opponent. When your turn comes around, 1st effect spec sum grave squirmer or sharvara and destroy one monster on field. 2nd effect: use yama to spec sum monster and destroy powersink at the same time. BAM. You get to use monster effects the rest of the turn With skill drain on the field you have to somehow trigger yama in grave to pop it. As no monster on the field can help you

That's actually really crazy. Powersink just has so much potential, and with many decks being quick effects it just adds layers to the card and I can see players starting to hate it with the rest of the floodgates x'D

UK National Championship Winner disagrees.

@VengefulShad0wz Oh no! A one-off championship where most of the other top cuts have been Tenpai and a near tier 0 Snake-Eye. So, why do Branded need to be hit when they've done nothing outside of a one-off top in a small country?

@@FriezaDBZKing69 A one off championship? You mean the biggest event of the year for that country? I think it speaks volumes that it beat out all the Tenpai/Tier 0 Snake-Eye. At the very least - Puppet lock alone HAS to go (probably sanctifier) and it wouldn't surprise me if they hit it aside from sanctifier because that's just what Konami does.

@VengefulShad0wz Yes. A one-off tournament, regardless of it being one of the biggest events in the U.K. Branded is still a rogue tier strategy at best, and it loses most matches to Tenpai, Snake-Eye, and even now, Yubel. This is no different than when, in 2021, at a YCS, there was an undefeated Burning Abyss deck, or that in 2022, a YCS was taken in a major upset by Prank Kids. Did those rogue decks need to be hit in 2021 or 2022? No, and they weren't. Meow-Meow Mu was eventually hit, but it wasn't because of a single YCS top cut. Similarly, Branded isn't likely to get hit. Sure, Gimmick Puppet Lock needs to get hit, but it isn't widely played outside of some rogue tier Branded strategies, and that's if they can pull it off consistently. It's hit or miss in the Branded strategy, and isn't always a go-to strategy for the deck. Other than Gimmick Puppet Lock needing a hit, Branded needing a hit is major cap and laughable considering Tenpai are 50/50 to get his with their field spell, and Snake-Eye is 100% receiving the ban-hammer.

@@VengefulShad0wz Yeah, my only problem is that it does require knowledge of what card you need to name for each deck because it won't negate or counter if you just didn't know beforehand. Big knowledge check to see if you know where the real choke points in a combo are. Fingers crossed for a big spreadsheet of all the best targets for each effect and combo line so I don't have to study so many decks myself 😂 I remember I was labbing my Yubel in a sim the other day against a Cyber Dragon deck and I didn't know what to stop him from Instant Fusioning so I just named Cyber Dragon Infinity since it was the only card I knew the deck would use, only to watch him summon out some kind of Cyber Dragon tank card I've never seen before 😂

@@AverageInternetCitizen I feel that with Ashing any new archetype x'D Always a feels bad when they extend past it like nothing happened, but at least we learn for the next time! But this card is absolutely busted in the right formats and I could see it gaining a ton in popularity. Reminds me a lot of dimensional Barrier as well!

Konami tends to trim back older decks that keep topping. But this archetype they keep printing chase cards for so they have made money off it. Eventually it will be hit accordingly.

I half miss 3 and half dont.

I understand it is essentially the powerhouse of the deck and is insane even at one. But I do not see Konami hitting it. I could be wrong, but I think they will take an alternate route.

I agree that OSS and the Flamberge are the biggest issues with the deck, but Konami might not ban OSS or Flamberge outright until tins and I honestly could see OSS going before Flamberge to cut off the insane consistency it provides. Talents is almost guaranteed a hit at some point in this game, even if not next list, seeing an opponents hand is always means for adjustments on the list. And I'd LOVE Branded Fusion to stay at 3, but we will see how Konami wants to handle TCG Branded.

Albions so gone And skill drain will absolutely see at least a limiting. I hope it stays.

That's why I am glad Barron is gone with Savage, and we will see if konami follows through with I:P/Appo at a later date. I absolutely do not want every good card archetype locked like we saw for YEARS, but there is also a fine line between hard locked and being GENERIC MATERIALS with BROKEN EFFECT. Seems like Konami is trying to reel it in a tad though.
