Hood River County, Columbia River Gorge Wind Sport Safety
Deputy Joel Carmody from the Hood River Sheriff's Office talks about what he sees out on the water when on patrol in the Bonneville Pool (Columbia River Gorge between Oregon and Washington states), where the geography, weather, water levels, and wind all come together for an ideal environment for water recreation. This one-mile stretch is also the most volatile and dangerous. Listen to what you can do to play it safe in the Gorge.

Rules for Boat Operations on the Lower Willamette River (Multnomah and Clackamas Counties)
