The Heavenly Kid (1985) PART 1

I don't own this movie -I am uploading it for some friends to watch it, and I encourage everyone to buy the DVD like I did. When Bobby dies in a car accident he is not allowed to enter heaven but has to stay in one of the lower levels until he has worked enough as an guardian angel in order to deserve paradise. This movie came out in 1985. This was a favorite movie of an old girlfriend and mine. We'll earlier this year she got in contact with me again. I said, do you remember Climbing the Heart Of Love. She said I will never forget that song and that movie. We are both divorced and in our 50's. She is trying to plan to see me. But, I got it Covered !!. 😎😎
8:03 I always thought he kicked him in the honeymoon tools before the book across the face...no,both blows were with the book 📙 😎 Coward Gallo was so brave cuz his hingeman McIntyre had his worthless back 8:26
The other hero is Lenny's step dad.
Man I gotta watch this again, it's been too long!
If it was me i would have check the door because both those guys wanted lenny dead that is why the door stuck close plus the other guy said we need to do something special
When my cousin died theres a picture of him walking up the stairs. My mom told me hes in uptown. I never called it heaven ever since. Fell in love with this movie at the age of 7
Love this movie they should bring it back I'm 72 n still remember it
The gay club scene was fucking hilarious..!!! Saw this back in the day as a kid….
It's not like you can say.. okay I'm tired of this dead stuff.... No... When you're dead you're dead. There's no return. Please remember that when you watch this
This is one of the best movies I've ever seen in my life. And I'm not a fake. I'm not someone who would lie about what I just said.... This movie really makes you think about how short and how fragile life really is... Once dead.... Always dead.... You can't turn back.
I remember this movie.. I just went through an old comic book and saw the ad. They don't make movies like this anymore.
Watched the TV version which included the edited out scenes. Hope his mother did tell him who Bobby was.
ces quoi le nom du film en français svp .
Bobby earns way to uptown now watch over his son Lenny
Chicken race is dangerous.
Great movie. Glad everything turned out fine. As far as Fred Gallo, his girlfriend Sharon, and McIntyre goes. It looks like they'll be restored back to their same normal terrible old selves. Who knows maybe they'll be a little bít wiser.
1980s movies knew how to make tears and hit you in the heart! Especially the ending.
Do you think he was thinking about his sins at that point?
The fast and the furious
All these years. I never caught that they rigged the door to not open. That little blond chick says "bye Lenny" She knew. Little harlet.
Why a wedding cake in the lunchroom cafeteria.
When I saw this movie in 1988. I was 10 years old. I wanted one of those blond teenager girls that put out.
Awesome movie, I grew with this movie
❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Siempre me encanto esta pelicula gran mensaje
Great movie.😊
❤one of my favorites
For some strange reason, Rafferty and his red Harley motorcycle always made me feel uncomfortable.. Almost like he was really the Devil testing Bobby.
He was the grim reaper
One of the best ending credits ever and soundtracks ever. Still and always will be my favorite movie !❤
I love this movie
How is there hills and mountains in Fort Lauderdale? 😮😢😂
Best scene
What the name this song in Diner Scene.
Movies from the 80's are the best.
Definitely an underrated gem of the 1980s, this movie is overlooked
time travel
5:45 - 6:45
The subway station scene was filmed at Atlanta’s Peachtree Center station. It still looks the same as today.
Can u imagine the feeling knowing...u was going to heaven.....gives me chills....
All you, but I'm the only one in California who talks about this movie
WOW!!! I was thinking about Rafferty and for some reason thought he was in the Bill & Ted's movies, was searching for ages until I finally came across this gem of a movie,I watched this SOOOO many times as a kid and loved it every time, definitely makes you think and the ending gets me everytime,...I haven't seen it in over 20 years now (I'm 47) so definitely gotta watch it in thr next few days 👌🏾
I love this movie, I grew up with it and it's still a classic.
Two classic cars sounding like hot rods
When it's my time, I hope that's the way I go, on a motorcycle flying up and disappearing into the clouds. Timeless classic here, typical of movies from the 80s
"Must Be Japanese" - A Classic Line.
Seeing the kid makes me want to watch Iron Eagle 😀
For Bobby to find out that Lenny is his son and Rafferty showing his name on the list to be going uptown was crazy after he found out that Lenny is Bobby’s son he had to do something to save him from the same fate of what happened to himself.
I remember when I watched this movie. I was all by myself. And I loved it I watch it a few times. This is one of my favorite one. I watch it every time I see it. Another one is Heart, Soak I can't remember all of it. But it's the one where 4 ghost are stuck with the kid till he helps them get to go to heaven. This movie is sad butt it is a good one. The kids now a days need to watch it. It teaches alot. There is sad parts but I love it. Another one is ghost.
I got stuck in Atlanta a few years ago. A random stranger told me I should go check out the huge escelator in the subway. I did. And It reminded me of this movie. Just found out It was the same escelator! 😀 come to think of it, dude looked a lot like that motorcycle guy 😮
He was willing to spend eternity in hell to save his son's life even though he knew his son was going to heaven. He wanted his son to live a full life. Something he didn't get a chance at. He didn't know that he was given a chance to redeem himself.
