Thanks! After many attempts (since the CB650R’s 4-cylinder produces such a smooth engine sound, making it tricky to capture exactly what we hear while riding), I've found that the best setup is to use a waist bag for the H1n, ensuring the dead-cat is on the recorder, and set the following on the H1n: - Low cut: 120Hz - Gain: Between 3-4 - Quality: 48K/24Bit - Auto level: OFF - Limiter: ON

@@ignitelens_mk I started with this bike (absolute beginner) and as long as you start slowly this is a great bike! It's very predictable which is what you want as a starter.

@@FalconR73 Absolutely, yes. I did ride the MT-07 after getting this bike, and I found it to be much lighter in comparison. It also has more torque at lower RPMs, which is ideal for city riding and weaving through traffic. The sound is different too. However, I personally prefer the power at higher RPMs and the unique sound of the four-cylinder engine, which suits my taste better. ✌

I am with Allstate broda, but it depends on the bike too. CBR650R is much higher when I checked initially.

On this one, it was under the riders seat using the Lav mic for Zoom H1n

I love it man, and yes it make a huge difference and without the DB killer its instance 😜

I’m having one fitted to my black edition soon but gonna leave the DB killer in as it’s a little too loud for me removed. If you were leaving the DB killer in is it still worth while fitting it?

@@Szabinger Thanks Broi, no ND in the lowlight/nights rides and I shoot in Dlog-M mode, the 10 bit color profile, coz the default color from the camera is not that great.

@@ignitelens_mk What settings do you use for the exposure, frame rate and stabilisation?

@@Szabinger I use 25 FPS with 1/50 Shutter most of the time, and I also use 30 FPS with 1/60 Shutter as well. ISO I set yo Auto 100-1600 in night rides and day times set to 100-200 ISO. Hope this helps.

@@ignitelens_mk Well it sounds really good my friend. I'm looking forward to getting the 2025 cb650r with the new e-clutch. I thought about getting the Kawasaki ZX-4RR, which has a very high revving 16,000 rpm inline 4-cylinder screamer, but I'm thinking that leaned over sport bike riding position, might be too hard on the body for longer rides. And since it's only a 400 and has about 54hp, I thought I might get bored with it after a while. How do you find the riding position is it pretty comfortable? I'm in Hamilton.

It's a continues experiment man, and I am still not 100% satisfied with the sound , coz it sounds even better in real 🤓 My current setup is using an external audio recorder (Zoom H1N) placing under the seat with some foam solution (DIY) to absorb the wind noise. The Zoom H1N settings are below: - Gain: 4-5 - Locut: 120Hz - Limiter: ON - Auto Level: OFF (Never turn on this one) - Quality: 48K/24bit

I pay around $130/month for this bike with my M2 license. MT09 SP is a great choice btw.
