    Thank you for explaining everything so well and even show us what can go wrong! I got a few questions: 1) if i took the wood WITH the bark, applied epoxy with a brush, let it completely cure and use it that way - would i still get problems after pouring the epoxy? 2) what table saw do you use? It looks perfect for tiny shops and seems to do a great job! Thanks in advance and keep up the great work! p.s.: The black with white swirls look gorgeus!

    Amazing! We so appreciate the time & level of detail you took in making our trays...so proud to own them! BTW...love the tutorial. You have a great speaking voice & enough humor to make me watch a woodworking video despite my lack of desire to be a woodworker...well, maybe I desire it a smidge, just not sure I'm that skilled. You, on the other hand, are extremely skilled & talented. Thank you!🥰

    Everything went well, but me personally don't like that black spot in the center. To mask it will be good to take some wood dust and mix it with the ca glue. Overall great build!

    • @GrainAndSteel
      @GrainAndSteel ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree. I originally used sawdust and glue, but it was too big of a spot, so it was super noticeable, so I just went with the black, so it didn't seem like I was trying to hide it.

    Wonderful. Work of art. Question. What would you use if you wanted a higher gloss finish?

    • @GrainAndSteel
      @GrainAndSteel ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! I appreciate it. The thing I really like about odies oil is that the sheen goes however high you sand it. So if I was looking for a higher gloss I could sand up to maybe 1000-2000 and it would be nice and shiny. I'm a big fan of the flat/satin look so I like to stop at around 320 grit.
