You can make your soap with caustic that you just soaked,the method is called semi hot process where the caustic solution cooks the soap while the one you ferment your caustic is used for cold process soap hope I have answered your question?thanks for stopping by

You can use only pko but the percentage of water will be reduce to 80% because pko alone cannot contain much water in it otherwise the soap will be soft
