You need to manually repair the map. If you just import it into Blender and try to recompile it, you will get errors. Why? Because the Halo Asset Blender addon does not automatically fix imported maps for you. It's too many steps for me to write in a TH-cam comment. It requires a lot of manual clean up, and it must be done perfectly. Maybe I will make a video on it.

Hi, xMobilemux! Give me a few minutes, and I will look into it for you. I will install the current version of Blender (4.3.1) and the Halo tools, then let you know what I find.

​@@halomodder I figured it out, it was the "Halo Regions" tab, at least I think it was. Anyway by following your vid I managed to get about as far getting my imported character to spawn into Sapien with a massively deformed back in the shape of Chief's backpack and my imported bitmap texture was black and white. May try again after a LONG nap. Thanks for replying though :)

To answer your questions: Yes, there is a workaround. And my video is outdated, because the name has changed from "Facemaps" to "Halo Regions." It's found in the same place, just under a different name. Thank you for making me aware of it. I hope this helps you, and others in the future too! 🙂

If only h1 needlers didn’t need a whole clip to super combine

There is still a remnant of this in the retail game! It's really hard to see because they made it so small, and it only appears when the needler is fully reloaded. Makes sense that it would have worked that way, but it's just a very tiny now. Maybe I should restore that too?? Thank you for pointing this out! And for subscribing too :)

I opened steam and now I supposedly got infected with a trojan on the file "user32.dll", what should I do?

@@doudoudou5670 I would disregard it. There's no way someone could inject a virus into the Steam update file from archive.org, and every other program is open source. Meaning, your antivirus is probably producing a false positive.

When I try and type in my password, its telling me it isn't correct even though it is

That sucks. I'm gonna try it later and find a workaround. Thank you for letting me know! EDIT: archive.org, a MAJOR component to this process, is down at the moment. They are being DDOS'd... The update file cannot be accessed from the archive.org link I provided, so Steam is just downloading the current update. I verified this by checking the package files that got downloaded after I completed the process. I have the ACTUAL package files for the May 30th 2023 version of Steam, and the ones that are being downloaded now are DIFFERENT... That is why the process is not working for you at the moment! Because Steam is overriding the archive link in the shortcut, and installing the current update. Give it some time, and allow archive.org to come back online and then it should work again. I will try my best to re-attempt this and let you know if I get it working. EDIT 2: I wrote a comment explaining this and pinned it for everyone else to see.

That's weird. The process should work no matter what. I'm still using the same version in this video. Are you certain you created "steam.cfg" and added the commands inside to prevent it from updating?

​@@americannightmarecody-Champion Okay. I'm just asking to try and help you. But, I have no idea what could be causing the issue. I would suggest trying it on a fresh install of Steam, but backup your "steamapps" and "userdata" folders, and any others you want incase you want to revert.

Dear JanustheXanus, Yes. The mod consists of ~60 new weapons, new vehicles, sound upgrades, 2K & 4K texture upgrades, particle effect upgrades, new animations, lots of cut content restoration, new enemies/AI in certain levels, tons of custom scripting. There's so much more to offer, and things I've never shown off yet. As for release, I'd like to get a V1 out by the end of this year, or maybe sometime next year. I am one guy doing all of this over the span of 2-3 years now. I do get burnt out at times, but I always come back to it. I am definitely going to make releases eventually. ​@@McBoofus Hi McBoofus! No, not yet. I have to figure out how to use the Workshop uploader tool. I've honestly considered not using it at all and uploading everything to Google Drive, but then people don't get automatic updates and have to manually install the mods.

Yes sir. I made it a couple years ago. It combines the health HUD, armor HUD, and minimap all into one area on the screen. It's clean and concise.
