    I recently got mine..... Finally.... after waiting since november. I fucked with them for over 2 hrs last night and can't get the dam things to operate smoothly in the cradle. To even change plates I've gotta finesse the plates into the correct position. Tried multiple adjustments to the dovetails. Plates get hung up or stuck . Then you've gotta mess with it to get the plates off the damn thing and they're partially stuck. Hoping they'll do an easy refund return . So id reconsider purchasing if your looking at these.

      @ I owned the power blocks. And just about every other dumbbell on the market. Ironmaster, power blocks, Nuobell etc. The power blocks are good but outdated. Bulky, cumbersome, dated design. I don't see what so funny. Never had the problem with the Reppins, either with the pin or with them rolling. More like user error. Not the dumbbell. Everything I am saying is accurate. They are one of the first if not the first on the market. So yeah, outdated is an understatement. The Reppins are one of a kind. If you need 80-125lb there is nothing better. Looks like you don't really need that weight or would use it. Do change and use what you like. But looks like you traded a Cadillac for a Chevy. To each their own. What's funny is you misspelled Regrets in your thumbnail. Ragrets? 😅 We're you saying "Rugrats? Lol

      @@Maguiresgym I would agree. Toyota isnt outdated though. The power-blocks are more like a new Chrysler 300 that was designed years ago with LED headlights. Loved my powerblocks, they are fool proof and work well. Cant go wrong with them. They really should work on the design and bulkiness. Over two decades i think they could be improved upon. Must have missed the movie reference. Appreciate the honesty in the video. The Reppins are not for everybody and using what you are used too you cannot go wrong there.

      If you're looking into an echo bike, check out fringesport. The Raptor Bike comes with all the bells and whistles. They usually run sales on their items. How is the RitFit rack holding up? I just tried out the Vesta Fitness half rack and ForceUSA G3. Vesta is clearly heavy duty and more stable with 11 g steel and 3x3 post, but the smith machine option is way out of my budget. The G3 had too much play all around and didn’t seem like a bigger upgrade to my Powertec rack.

    • @Maguiresgym
      @Maguiresgym 4 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@MR-vy5gn I think RitFit is a good option but you have to know what you are getting… in the world of 14g steel all-in-one Power racks they are great, arguably the best option. Funny, I also drove to the Rep Fitness showroom today in PA (2 hour drive). I was there to check out the functional trainers and Ares. I walked by the Reppins and after a quick test, I was happy with my decision not to buy them. I have PowerBlocks and although they are nice, both them and the Reppins are tough, really tough to use versa grips. So, I am glad I went in another direction (gonna sell my PBs). Both are good, but I use my Versa's a lot.

    Thats the thing, everything sounds good until you get a chance to try it. Its always 50/50 on whether or not I experience major buyer's remorse because I either fall in love with it and become proficient with it, or I hate it but try to make the most of it unless I can get a full refund. But everything has pros and cons. Some you can adapt to and others are just always a pain, but thats mostly up to personal preference and taste.

      I have Ironmasters. They are a little less efficient to change weights, but I think they are better dumbells than everything else otherwise. They are never going to break, even if dropped. The knurling is perfect. They feel more like real dumbells when using. . I also like and have most of the ecosystem ( Superbench, DB spotters, shortbench with latpulldown/ low pulley).

      @@cfrangiadis I had Iron Master dumbbells for years and sold them for the Reppins. They are great dumbbells and almost unbreakable as you know.

    I ordered that kettlebell. When I get it from post postman dropped the box on to floor front of me. He was handicapped and 24kg was just too much to him. I take box to home and yeah it was broken. That white packing material totally broken and that plastic adjustable cock rod totally broken. I send it back to amazon. So first point if you order this order it from the place where you can return it easy. Before I send it back I try that 16kg bell part alone. I really really liked handle vs my comp bell handle.. So all in all I liked the bell much but durability was now in my mind too much so I bite the bullet and ordered hardstyle adjustable kettlebell. So in the end even this bad luck bell in the middle I learned something. I just use bell myself big xl hands no competitions and I don't ever use any chalk in my hands anyway no double bell stuff so hard style is better fit to me. Good bell if you get it home unbroken and you don't drop it.. But that fits in all most any other adjustable kettlebell too out there.. If you get it close to 150 price plus post it is good purchase. 250 price what some ask from it I say hell no and get that competition style adjustable kettlebell from the cheapest place where you can find. Or wait for sale day. Just my two cents.

    Yes! I have a pair of each of these and they're FAB! Glad to see you love them, too and out here telling people about them. I saw your review before I bought mine - you're spot on. These bells are great. Thank you for your helpful review.

    Powerblocks are the most reliable adjustable dumbbells out there. No moving parts and nothing that can break if they are taken care of.

    i got a set of PB they are old as all heck but even at there age they are soso nice but only go to 45 lbs i order the repins i onle went with the repins because i feel they are going to come out with a good eco system and should last forever just like the power blocks. my PB will be moved to my TV room and one will go next to my computer and the Reppins will go in my home gym aslong as the repins come out with there eco system i think i made a good choice if they dont well then i think i may have over paid lol.

    I’m like you… I got PBs during COVID. Used them for years and they were fine. Not perfect on the adders balance as you note and the occasionally selection is off. I got caught up in the Repin hype and got those The Repins are better overall but also not perfect. It’s harder than the PBs to put the weight back in the holder. And the micro weight pull pin is kinda annoying. I was going to sell my PBs but I find myself still using them and liking them. One bonus use I found was using them as a footplate for my single cable tower for low rows. They’re the right size and shape for each foot! I guess I now have two sets of adjustable dumbbells.

      Ya I’m not a huge fan of the Repins pull pin added weight, it’s harder for me to see what weight I’m on as well with those! Overall though, they are great! Didn’t think I would ever have two adjustable dumbbells, but I’m keeping both too!
