I think that if you want to pay $85 for this which yes it's expensive but like you said they are a very bougie high-end expensive brand, then go ahead. Sometimes when you really treat yourself and want to buy something special, it doesn't always have to be financially smart or even make sense. If you love something, it's nice to treat yourself sometimes and that's how I would look at it. Look at it like it's a treat you don't get to do for yourself all the time and you're willing to spend a little extra because it's something you really enjoy and you can use it all throughout the year.

I'd probably stare away from the $85 small bottles. But it still looks like you've got nice stuff

Shannon, I LOVE this, and I would pay the 85.00 for it. Think about our Alexandria, who has paid 250.00+ for Advent Calendars full of teeny tiny "free" samples in a 14-day calendar. This Calendar is WORTH the $85.00. 🤗

I love their shower oil! It is my last step in the shower and my skin is so soft. I received it as a free sample with an order from Ulta and thrn pirchased a full size bottle when they ran it on sale. ❤

I just pulled up the British website the Ciate Actually box is showing available but on the US website everything is sold out as you mentioned... something is going on for sure. This is a story for Jen Luv

That's so messed up!!! They probably went bankrupt and instead of staying true to customers and refunding them, they just ghosted them. That's a very bad look for any company. If they were having issues, I'm sure they knew way before promoting those boxes, but sold them anyway. 😢

I won't buy them anymore, I loved ciate too just like Jen but I don't support that kind of company. We are the consumer and spend our hard earned money for these companies products and for them to just ghost people isn't right. Thank you for being so upfront and honest, it's much appreciated ❤❤❤

I got one email from them that said basically the same thing you said in the video and then I’ve heard nothing since

I also could not escape the Facebook ads for that Black Friday Mystery Box so I purchased one because so many people rave about their products. I got shipping notification that a label has been created on 11/27 and since then NOTHING. I have now contacted Customer service 5 times...3 times prior to Christmas and twice after the New Year. They did respond to one email I sent prior to Christmas assuring me that I would receive the box in time for Christmas and stated not to contact again or it may hold up my box even more. When Christmas came and the box did not I waited until after the holidays and then contacted them again and still have not received a response so now I am working on a charge back from my credit card company.

Also I googled and it looks like Amazon is the only place to get the goods.

BESTIES! It’s so weird imho! Like I get running out of the product ok. Refund! I was so happy to get mine but I too have heard many are missing their box. So because it was shipped from New Jersey… I wonder if it gets shipped (literally by boat) to a place in NJ to get mailed and somewhere in between there was shenanigans?? I mean I ordered the minute I saw it so likely day 1 or 2. Are they out of business? This is the first Ciate products I’ve ever tried. 😢

I had the same thing happened to me in November. I ordered the diour advent Calender thru amazon. I spent $50 of my hard-earned money. I've never received the product. Amazon says that GUY WAS not a dealer and Amazon will not give me my money back. So I'm working with my bank on fraud. Sorry all keep fighting to get yr money bk. ❤❤

I’m so glad I found your channel. My skin tone is the same as Jen’s. So many of the items Jen can’t wear is the same as me. You ladies live like a two hour drive from me. I agree with you both, customer service is key.

That's really freaking shady. How and why, as a business, would you do something like this? Especially without addressing it. It's like okay if there's a huge issue and it caused all this, customers would rather be informed and updated then to be ghosted. Customers take that very personally when a company does that. People will respect the company a whole hell of a lot more when you are transparent and honest with them. You may still lose some business because of it, but more people are likely to forgive it and give you another chance. I'm that way. I know businesses have problems, and sometimes they can't help but what happens, but it's how they deal with the issue that makes me decide whether or not I want to continue to give them my business.
