I see a lump under the hide on the opposite side from where the projectile entered. That spells dead deer to me.

Im new in the airgun world and I appreciate your videos. Trying to find a deer rifle for my 10 yo son and myself to hunt with. What is the overall best pcp deer rifle you prefer? Probably weight will be an important factor. I would like to have more than 1 shot if possible. Dependable and accurate out to 100 yards. Im in the $1500 or less range. Thank you!

Just got mine with a pump kit and mag and so far I am loving it. I also get way higher numbers like 344fpe @ 4600psi and then 315ish for the 2 and 3rd is 300fpe 4th 280fpe but at the end I'll get 10 shots with my mag ,11 if one in the chamber. looking at accurate molds maybe 160- 185grain would be nice. a good wade cutter type.

Hard to tell unless you probably test it but I saw Rick at Shoter 1721 shoot a 22 caliber FX impact and it penetrated 3/4 in of wood at 400 yds. I'm going to purchase a FX impact Mark 3 with a 600 mm Barrel slug power kit and FTX Barrel. The question I have is will this 30 cal be as accurate and also be able to penetrate 3/4 inches of wood at 400 yd or is the slug going to be too heavy and lose energy?

@MichiganAirgunner what about 100 yds, 200 yds 300 yards 22 caliber compared to 30 caliber in terms of penetration and accuracy? I think there's a way of calculating it

Air guns are way over priced. I been wanting to get into airguns for 4 years but can't get pass the cost ( 5,000) of gun, tank, compressor , scope and other parts needed to brake into this sport. This gun alone is 3,000
@@goodboyringo9716 depending on what you want I could figure out something much lower in cost ... Cheapest being maybe $600-$800 and up from there
@@MichiganAirgunner .. I can figure out what fits me , not needing any help thanks. 600-800 would be junk , ha ha . Good air guns cost 2,000 -3,000 lol I'll pass The money is not the problem , I have what it takes for a 5,000 set up but I'm not spending it on an air gun. It's just not worth it.

@@MichiganAirgunner Their website says one can put a double tank adaptor on it, 2 x 1000cc carbon tanks would be real cool. Do you have the .45 sniper model? Real dam expensive, plus almost 100% import tax to Brazil. It would be less expensive for me to pay a flight for you to deliver it lol

I just hit 1264 FPS with a 128 grain on my 457 challenger with the max power pack, and i have never heard that before, now I have have valve lock because it was overfilled before and after the first valve lock it will work like it is supposed to. Geat video, keep up the good work.

Yeah , i've heard the fifty eight is about like a four ten shotgun , but the seventy two cal. like the zeus is more like a twelve gauge shotgun😂 The fifty cal. Megalodon, Did have More of a nudge than Expecting. Coming from a blitz with Pretty much no recoil

just got m357 bdog, any hints on casting slugs would be appreciated. have a 358 mold, do you recommend sizing, lubing weighting slugs. New to this what factors make the most difference. a quick rule of thumb would be great.
@@bigalsprojects u will definitely need a sizer.. every barrel is a little different some guns like 357 some like 358.. your slugs will drop a little bigger then 358 from the mold.. u can go wrong lubing slugs.. I really don't weigh my all that much unless I plan on shooting 100+..
@@MichiganAirgunner Thanks - is the problem of lubing to much lube or wrong type (assume saying don't buy pre-lubed bullets for air riffle)

You know what man I'm I'm right there with you and unfortunately in my state we can only hunt air rifles on primitive wedding days so I get a week of hunt not the best conditions you're still got a lot of foliage up you know it's like it's rougher conditions I like to hunt and one day I'd like to hunt bear What I was thinking about doing is just going ahead and stepping up to the AEA Zeus 72 cal and trying to be real selective on what I'm hunting to what grain I'm using.
