I've been there so many times "Winging it" on social media scripts 🤣 I feel your pain Taylor... If its a reel with voiceover then rehearsal, rehearsal, rehearsal... if its a video with you in it then bullet points & definitely don't use a script! (Like your Vlogs) Would love a sample box ♥

@Taylor Just a thought. Are there any patterns on those challenges you are facing during Sep- Nov? Have you noticed some of these problems come up every year. If so may be you can find a solution. For example if people get sick in Sep/ Oct can you encourage them to get flu vaccine? I would think if you can identify any reoccurring challenges you can improve your sales and have a bit more smooth operation during peak times.

Another great vlog. Enjoyed the little P and L section. It’s something I used to have on the back burner in the monthly job priority and concentrated on sales but now I scrutinise every line and question every bill. It’s amazing what savings can be made with just an hour a month double checking.

I get it, it's super tough these days. We sold our business this year, and I think we were fortunate from a timing perspective. Costs just keep going up, faster than prices can be raised.

Taylor, this is an amazing video. I love the idea of 4ds and a spreadsheet. The last few weeks were very hard for me and actually ended in hospital with a stroke. I getting better now. I silently watch these vlogs, never commented but always liked. As an entrepreneur myself, really enjoy seeing your journey Taylor.

Really enjoyed that one. If ever we are really busy and stretched to the limit (and beyond) I always think of it as a problem but a NICE problem. A bad problem is sat there at ten in the morning with no orders to pack, no emails to respond to and no overrun projects to finish (or even start). It sounds like you have hit a real “peak” with your staff getting through the workload and I know you will not hire too quickly and hiring wrong due to time restraints can be a disaster but you look like you have a great team and communication looks good so maybe try a monthly “catch up” night or similar with a definite stop time for the normal day, tools down and a few pizza slices and then twenty mins later start back on jobs that NEED doing but aren’t getting done but make sure staff know that it’s a real “blitz” of say two hours then we all head home. Nothing worse than having to work overtime when you have no idea how long it’s going to be. 20 x people doing 2 hours one night a month is like having another member of staff for a full week. Doesn’t even have to be related to the normal job it may just be a desk or machine that needs moving to increase productivity but during the day there is no spare time. Keep doing the videos though, there’s a lot of us out there look forward to them.
