Good lord this sound design is just absolutely incredible. For the little time we actually saw The Witness in game it left a huge impact and that is all because of the stellar design that went into creating it. Just amazing work all around.
Slowed & reverb
You guys did an insane job w/ the sfx in this dungeon. The weird droning sound that panels make when you get close to them goes crazy
What about the car horn sound for the resonance buffs?
Please Bungie, can we get whatever that orange/yellowish arc looking energy as a 3rd darkness super/element?
I know its older content but pleeease do Kings Fall. The dead silence after the daughters death right before Oryx is so good to me
The radiation sound is so brutal, love it.
That radiation sound is my favorite sound in the game ez. Dreadful and obviously nuclear detector
I think you sound/foley artists do a great job considering how often this sort of stuff gets overlooked with all of the dialogue, music, discord chatter and gunfire that's always fighting over your work.

I swear there is no need for this many plugins at all. Like really. After a point it's not making it better its just different. You could pick 2-3 of these and it would be ample

@@MrPandabros yeah but not in the professional arena. I've been mixing movies for 20 years and while I like to keep on top of what music people are doing, the trend is towards excessive plugin use rather than getting things right
@@ethnicalbert both approaches work, in the video game sound arena people tend to go pretty heavy on the plug in chains
@@MrPandabros Yeha and I go pretty heavy for design myself if its warranted, but imo lotta young folks are just lazy with their cpu usage because they can be. Which is fine but the same thing happened with track count ten years ago and less is usually more
2:11 Meteor Strike is so good- the gas escaping his mask and the subtle rumble as the camera pans to the area 😍
