Unfortunately I will not be posting it. I've stopped making B9 content since they are shutting down soon. Sorry to disappoint!

I haven't played B9 in a while but I can say that Orphina and Uribel are decent. In my opinion, they both work better in the World Arena as they are less likely to get blown out by the competition that the Exalteds and Legendary mercenaries pose. However, even if they are used in the World Arena, Orphina is outshined by most warriors and their dedicated warrior supporters, and Uribel can still be one-shot depending on the matchup. I wouldn't say running them guarantees a loss, as they are still be viable; but from a meta standpoint, they not the top beasts. For Brown Dust 2, I haven't tried it. However, from what my friend said, they stated its about 50% similar to B9. They said that the combat happens on a smaller board, mercenary costumes change their skills, and the banners are on rotation like Hoyoverse games(i might be wrong on the banners tho). My friend is a huge gacha game addict with him playing like 9 or so gacha games at a time lol, so them saying Brown Dust 2 is good assures me that its actually quite good. Imo if your still undecided, id say you can give the game a go for 1 month and see how you like it. If you enjoy it, then you can stick with it, if not, you can drop it.

@@nefitheb9guy damn i thought uribel might've been just completely dogshit considering u talked about kaoli being outclassed at least but didn't talk abt uribel even once hahaha. and i get why orphina might be niche now considering her biggest problem always has been the fact that she's a defender 😔. but damn now that i think abt it i also wanna know mamonir, granhildr, vermont and rafinas current viability you would've probably talked abt them in the part 3 hybrid teams of this series but i guess it's pointless now 😭. I'm just happy seeing ppl talk abt this game soo much, it's such an interesting game. it's almost more fun than actually playing the game lol 😆. damn i kinda wanna rewatch gcyoshi's mercenary 😩 spotlights again

@imokay3276 Hahaha im glad you enjoyed me talking about one of my most favorite games. I had a great time making those videos and all the feedback I got from it was astounding. However, we just gotta accept B9 will be gone. It's sad definitely, but we still made really good memories playing the game. I love B9 and I will cherish it forever as it made an unremovable print on me on how games can work. For more game stuff, while I was making the video Legends were completely banned from World Arena. So when was they enabled them + the recent buff Uribel gained I would consider her somewhat viable in World Arena now. If your curious about the other defenders you stated, here is my quick opinion on them: - Mamonir is still not great, her only niche is in Guild War due to her nullifier counter, but even still her viability is quite low - Granhildr is not bad, due to her recent buffs her HP can get pretty massive. However, taunt tanks nowadays are just outclassed by Roadblock Tanks(such as Lain and HP Restraint tanks) - Vermont is not great and very niche, he is only good at countering ESV Isleok. Pretty much outclassed by other Roadblock Tanks - Out of all the ones you listed, Rafina is probably the most viable only in World Arena. Though, after they made it so that you can use 3 Legendries in World Arena, her usage dropped due to, again, warriors and warrior supporters :p. Still not bad, but can struggle to get through tanks.

@@nefitheb9guy damn i always knew mamonir would be terrible one day consider her main defensive skill is basically provisional hp that can be bypassed by guard ignoring damage i mean velfen doesn't evn have it anymore hahaha. but yeah i will definitely miss the game 😢

@@imokay3276 ye same, i really wished they changed mamonir to lean more into a modern type of bruiser, but oh well :(. Long live B9, best game ever.

In short, the best exalted mercs are: 1) Ryde 2) Ragares or Fabian 3) Dione or Ulfin 4) Pyran - Ryde is simply really good due to her bestowing an incredibly strong immortality buff, which pretty much is invincibility. - Ragares is good to counter Ryde + provide pretty valuable HP Consumption attacks to allies to counter HP Restraint enemies. Fabian is equal in strength to Ragares due to his counterattack ability as well as generally high damage + self-sufficient utility of Heal Ban and Buff Removal - Dione and Ulfin are also about equal in power and still very strong, they both just hit very hard and have attacks that are quite difficult to avoid if planned out accordingly, but equally very easy to avoid if the enemy plans for it. - And lastly, Pyran is decent due to his Super Taunt bestowing him with actual invincibility, but the problem with Pyran is that it gets removed so easily and even though he gains invincibility after he loses his taunt, its still not enough to warrant using him over other more reliable tanks(like Lucius, Lain, AoG Eda or other HP Restraint mercs)

I hope to come back with another game, but it'll take me some time until I finally find one that I can stay in.

i tryed it on realese i find it kinda borring comparing to 1 but the game look realy good.

Im also guessing that the Arena, Guild Raid, Guild War, e.t.c will be turned off, while campaign will still be online. But without those PvP gamemodes, generating diamonds will be much slower, though we will have to see when the final update drops.

@@nefitheb9guy yeah i guess the only PVP feature that can be salvaged is the 'sea battle' one since they can just make all opponents to be bosses only (chest/mermaid/etc) My idea for earning extra diamond/scrolls outside of the daily-login bonus (assuming it would still exists in offline mode) is that the story mode' rewards can be acquired infinitely.

Hopefully they don't just give us all the characters for free, as that, for me, would ruin the gacha aspect of it. But they'll probably do that, or make it super easy to acquire all the characters anyway. At least that's what other eos'd gacha games did when they went offline...

At this moment I don't, and I don't plan on making videos about BD2 since others are already. That may change in the future though, but again, no promises.

Who knows, maybe in the future updates they will still make PvP content available which can allow me to still make videos. However, I doubt that would happen :(. But I wish it would!

for real, it was hella unique and very satisfying everytime you win, i wish they invested more into this game but i guess thats just company decision :(

@nefitheb9guy it's not chess but it's similar in the way you prethink a good chunk of the fight before anything else. Positioning and all of that I will forever still appreciate the relics of content made on this game. I hope you can find another gacha to fill the void

Yeah, I spent a LOT of time looking for games similar to brave nine. IDK why, the gameplay itself is special man, it's like playing chess but you only pre-move, and when you win, it feels rewarding. Maybe it's also because the game gives so many rewards, maybe not. All in all, it's a very unique game, and finding something like this is going to be very hard

To get Edin fast is to get Mileage points fast, and the main way you do that is by ONLY rolling using diamonds, completing main quests and collecting the jump start quest rewards. Those 3 combined are the only ways to obatin Mileage points. Do keep in mind that collecting Mileage points takes an incredibly long time and if you are unlucky it will take legit a WHOLE YEAR to get Edin. That's what happened to me :/. I wish you good luck on your rolls and get to rolling(with diamonds)!

If you're confused about how Minerva works, I can give u a simplified and quick rundown. 1st skill: - Grants her basically 50k Provisional HP - Whenever an enemy mage becomes casting-ready(they turn glowing blue), Minerva gains 10k HP and applies Concentrated Fire on herself 2nd skill: - Grants her a free 50k HP - For a moderate duration, Minerva can only be damaged via Direct damage, HP Consume damage and/or HP Reduction damage. In other words, she will NOT take any damage unless its those 3 damage types. 3rd skill: - Minerva deals Guard/Barrier ignoring damage 4 times that scales off her Additional HP(HP that is not her BASE HP, you don't think about the distinction too hard) 4th skill: - Minerva gets Debuff Immunity If you are asking about skill effects in general, that's uhhhhh... quite the broad topic. Do you have any skill effect(s) in particular that you would like to know more about?

Ty for the complement! I still gotta do some more testing to confirm but it does seem like Direct Damage, HP Consume and HP Reduction pierces through her DMG Deletion.

hahaha sorry should have made the video earlier, would have saved you those diamonds. Thankfully she is atleast good in PvE content else I would be very disappointed in her, but ig that makes sense for a limited time mercenary in a game that does not have limited time characters.

By herself, El Clear can't destroy herself when she attacks herself. The only way El Clear can destroy herself is when her DEF boost is blocked, she gains Ragares's HP Consume buff, or more commonly, attacking an ally Ryde. - In the 1st case, if El Clear's DEF boost is blocked due to a Buff Prohibition debuff, El Clear cannot apply her DEF boost, which results in her taking full damage when she attacks herself. - In the 2nd case, Ragares will bestow HP Consume dmg to El Clear; which when she hits herself, she will deal HP Consume dmg to herself. - In the 3rd and more common case, Ryde performs a counter-attack to whoever hits her. So when El Clear hits an ally Ryde, Ryde will perform the counter-attack and thus kill El Clear, even though they are allies.

hahaha true, i was also stumped when I read her kit for the first time, its very unconventional with weird interactions. I'm happy that this guide helped!
