Day in the Life of a Construction Worker
How did you get into becoming a construction manager?
How much does cost to build a house like thid
Fun fact: It took one year to construct the Empire State Building. It stands at about 1,200 feet tall and has approximately 2.2 million square feet of interior space. Just thought I’d throw that out there…
How would you do it is some shelves needed to be adjustable
Respect
It takes 3 weeks in Texas 😂😂
According to Trinity Custom Homes, about 2 years
Should be able to do everyone's job on the site but strive to never do any of them.
I want to do CM and I love randomness, I love being spontaneous, and I love physical projects, I’m also really good at communication
I regret going to college too. When I was 18, my parents forced me to go to college in Japan. I dropped out and came back to the United States because I wanted to move to Spain, so I wanted to use here as a base. My parents threatened to cut me off if I did not go back to Japan. They were not willing to support me doing anything else. I wanted my parents to talk to me, so I went back and I got my bachelor’s degree, but I absolutely disliked Japan. I was not interested in the culture and I was far away from home. I am angry at myself for going to college in Japan because I was afraid of being cut off by my parents. I should have stayed here in the United States and have figured things out. It is the biggest regret of my life. My parents and I hardly even talk now, so I should not have feared them cutting me off. I did not have to go to college in Japan. I could have just stayed here. I am sure I would have been fine.
6 months for a mansion.. huh this makes me feel good about the time it’ll take to build my small home on my own
“Fuck all” is an easy way to say it
How big are your books?!
What’s the square footage?
Frame of the house built with sticks.
Thanks for the video, after I finish college for electrical I will pursue education for a bachelors in CM. Do you have any tips for someone who isn’t at that point yet but could start doing or learning to prepare, And also would you say the times you get home is always different?
What is the difference between learning HVAC in trade school or in College??
They make it harder for people who do the construction.
Definitely not safe
You should think about your pet. He should be belted in the back seat where he is safe. He doesn’t know that he’s in an unsafe place. He just wants to be up front. If you had an accident, or were hit. He could be injured or killed. All for a video 😢
You reminded me when I started working with my dad, I am 24 btw
Love it ❤❤❤
This clip has started an interesting conversation.
Wouldn't the individual trade-people do these marking after following the drawings as its on them to do the work ? According to your logic, what's the name of the tradesperson doing the markings ?
I’m a project manager and your right, every day is a new set of task to keep the projects moving forward whether it’s actually laying out plans with subs or dropping off materials on a job it all has to be for a bigger goal of seeing the jobs through start to finish.
Hey Lance, I am 24 and graduated from a university with an accounting degree and now am working in accounting. I currently am not enjoying my job (i have worked for more than one company) and feel trapped within the walls of the office or my home depending if I work remotely. I was wondering if you have any advice for someone like me to research and see which trades career may be best for me. Thanks so much for your help.
Nice. What did you use to gave the front of the shelves?
The average college graduate will make significantly more money over a lifetime than someone working in the trades, even after accounting for the cost of college and opportunity costs. However, individual people may escape the average. A graduate may fail to get a job after college, while a tradesman may start a succesfull company. At the same time, for every company, there must be 10 workers who are working for it. From a purley financial perspective, it is a gamble on if you can be better than the average.
SO SWEET
Awesome!

That's a weapon in a crash. 🤷♀️
Bros the Nara smith of building
Great stand but that's not gonna keep it out of the elements unless you cover the whole thing with a tarp
My name is Scout, too!
The console is also seat. you could just pull it up
Your hearts in the right place, but your brain might be missing a few screws…. 😭 (I mean that as respectfully as it can be taken)
I don’t have tik tok. I wish you posted more on here.
They have a seatbelt for her so she doesn’t go through the windshield 😊
This is so cool, but I think any dog should be strapped in while in the car. If you get a harness and a lead that is specially designed to clip in like a seatbelt it will make the journey much safer 😊 I love the idea of the chin rest though
Isn't the RIO for college way more than trade school? Like 1 million dollars more?
NO WAY MY DOG IS LIKE THAT TOO
So sweet
